Elsie Hiebert, 94

Elsie H. Hiebert, 94, homemaker, died July 7 in Hillsboro.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 11 at the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, with pastor Dave Plett officiating. Burial will precede the service at 10 a.m. at Hillsboro M.B. Cemetery.

The family will receive guests from 6 p.m. 8 p.m. Thursday, July 10 at Hillsboro M. B. Church.

She was born March 8, 1914, o Frank and Ann (Kliewer) Hiebert in Corn, Okla.. On Dec. 31, 1933, she was married to Herman Hiebert, who predeceased her in 1982.

Survivors include son Harold Hiebert and wife Boni Johnson of LaCrosse, Wisc., two daughters, Elizabeth and Richard Kauffman of Littleton, Colo., and Esther Ewert of Hillsboro; two sisters, Goldie Sawatzsky of Weatherford, Okla., and Edna Karber of Fairview, Okla.; several grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established with Tabor College.
