Edward Costello, 85

Edward J. Costello, 85, former president and chief executive officer of Tampa State Bank, died April 2 at St. Luke Hospital in Marion.

Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5 at St. Mark?s Catholic Church in Marion. A rosary will be at 7 p.m. Friday April 4 at Holy Family Parish, Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Tampa. A private family burial will be held at Marion Cemetery.

He was born April 9, 1922, to James and Anna (Noone) Costello in Tampa. On Sept. 1, 1947, he was married to Mary K. Quinn, who survives in Marion.

He is also survived by two sons, Patrick Costello and Donna Kay Fladager of Moscow, Idaho, and Christopher Costello of Marion; three daughters, Cathleen McNamara, Teresa and Dave Perky and Barbara and John Loehr, all of Overland Park, and Mickey and Bill Lundy of Marion; sisters Anna Marie Bergkamp of Pretty Prairie, Rosemary Lewis of Wichita, Catherine and Martin Hajek of Tampa, and Florence Scanlan of Laguna Nigel, Calif.; and 17 grandchildren.

Memorial funds have been established with Holy Family Parish Building Fund, Marion Advancement Campaign and Wichita State University Foundation, all in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, P.O. Box 6, Marion, KS 66861.
