Lenora Collier

Lenora May Collier, 73, of Lehigh, died Sept. 27 at Lehigh. Services will be held in Colorado at a later date.

She was born July 3, 1935, to Albert Law and Juanita (Person?epp) Law in Granada, Colo.

She is survived by her spouse, John Masson of Lehigh; sons Kurt and Jackie Collier of Lakewood, Colo., and Ralph Collier of Pueblo, Colo.; daughters Betty Judd of Mt. Morris, Mich., and Cindy Masson of North Glen, Colo.; brother Jerry and Sandy Peters of San Jose, Calif.; and 20 grandchildren.

Hilda Knak

Hilda Knak, 84, homemaker, died Sept. 24 at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.

Services were Sept. 27 at First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro. Burial was at Haven of Rest Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.

She was born Aug. 3, 1924, to Paul K. and Katharina (Schmidt) Funk in Hillsboro. On March 12, 1946, she was married to Eldon Willard Knak, who predeceased her.

She is survived by sons Ronny Knak of Wichita, Don Knak of Florence, Glenn Knak of Salina, Larry Knak of Thomsontown, Pa., and Roger Knak of Fairview, Okla.; daughter Clarice Knak Warkentin of Hillsboro; brother Roy Funk of Goessel; sister Lenora (Funk) Gehring of Moundridge; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Mable Sample

Mabel Irene Warkentin Sample, 81, retired music professor from Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., died Sept. 16.

A service celebrating her life was held Friday, Sept. 19, at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Tequesa, Fla.

She was born Sept. 26, 1926, in to George and Mathilda Warken?tin in Hillsboro. She was married to Duane Sample, who predeceased her.

She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Ruth Jane Warkentin and Ruth Felkner, and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd?s ?Our Little Ros Scholarship Fund.?
