Lesley Peterson, 39
Lesley T. Peterson, 39, employee for Wear Technology of McPherson, died Nov. 2 at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis Campus, in Wichita.
The funeral was Nov. 6 at Canton Christian Church. He was buried at McPherson Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 28, 1968, to Leonard and Tina Peterson in McPherson. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Alice Peterson of Marquette; his mother of Canton; a fiancee, Tamie Wallace and her daughter Lacie Wallace, both of Canton; a daughter, BriAnna Peterson of Hutchin?son; a step-daughter, Dymond Spencer of Galva; a step-brother, Travis McKee of Wichita; and a step-sister, Amy McKee of Salina.
Memorial funds have been established with Canton Emer?gency Medical Services in care of Olson?s Mortuary of Canton.
Frieda Schmidt, 87
Frieda Schmidt, 87, homemaker, died Oct. 20. The funeral was Oct. 28 at Royer Funeral Home in Grain Valley, Mo. She was buried Oct. 29 at Johannestal Cemetery in Hillsboro.
She was born July 18, 1920, to Reinhold and Anna Guhr in Lehigh. Her husband, Benjamin A. Schmidt, predeceased her in 2007. She is survived by four sons, Richard Schmidt of Nevada, Mo., Calvin and Judith Schmidt of Nevada, Wayne and Patty Schmidt of Moscow, Idaho, and James and Venita Schmidt of Grain Valley; two daughters, Nadine Szymkowiak of Indepen?dence, Mo., and Elaine and Dan DenHouter of Ann Arbor, Mich; a brother, Herbert Guhr of Hills?boro; 23 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Beverly Unruh, 60
Beverly Jane Unruh, 60, died Oct. 28 at Salem Nursing Home in Hillsboro. The funeral was Nov. 2 at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro with pastor Brett Huebner officiating.
She was born Aug. 27, 1947, to Cornelius A. and Rachel Jane Dick Unruh in Hillsboro.
She is survived by a brother, Terry Unruh of Chandler, Ariz.
A memorial fund has been established with Salem Nursing Home.
Ted J. Wiebe, 82
Ted J. Wiebe, 82, a retired grain farmer, died Nov. 1 at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.
The funeral was Nov. 6 at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro. He was buried Nov. 7 at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City.
He was born May 17, 1925, to Henry A. and Mary Ens Wiebe in Finney County. On Aug. 21, 1971, he was married to Nettie A. Rempel, who predeceased him in 2003. He is survived by a daughter, Lisa Wiebe of Hesston; two brothers, Arthur Wiebe of Hillsboro, and Orville Wiebe of Richmond, Va.; and a sister, Betty Phillips of Kingsport, Tenn.
