Arnold Brenzikofer
Arnold F. Brenzikofer, 96, former co-op manager, died June 5 at Emporia Presbyterian Manor.
Service was June 16 at the manor chapel with Jayne Duncan officiating. Inurnment was in Sunset Lawns Cemetery in El Dorado.
He was born March 30, 1911, to Frank and Ida R. Stackley Brenzikofer in Burns. On Jan. 6, 1940, he was married to Bessie Thompson, who died in 1974. On Sept. 6, 1975, he was married to Thelma Rankin, who died in 1994.
He is survived by a stepdaughter, Gail Rollo of Har?lingen, Texas; a stepson, Jim Rigdon of Pensacola, Fla.; two brothers, Harold of Emporia and Leroy of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Martha Shinn of New?ton, Idabelle Boyd of Hutchinson and Edna Bayes of Valley Center; 13 step-grandchildren and 16 step-great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Hand in Hand Hospice in care of Charter Funeral, Emporia Chapel.
Luella Hefley
Luella S. Hefley, 91, died June 11.
Service was June 15 at Downing & Lahey Mortuary East in Wichita.
She was married to Alvie M. Hefley, who predeceased her.
She is survived by a son, Rick and Mary of Topeka; a daughter, Louise and Kent Michael of Wichita; a brother, Orval Suderman of Hillsboro; a sister, Orpha Wilkinson of Mt. Hope; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild and two step-great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Ebenfeld Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro.
Marilyn Klassen
Marilyn Klassen, 64, computer supervisor for Farmers Alliance, died June 10 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
The service was June 14 at First Mennonite Church of Hillsboro with Scott Miller officiating. Burial was in Lehigh Township Cemetery.
She was born Sept. 30, 1942, to Boyd and Ruby (Ford) Linnens of McPherson. She was married to Verlan Klassen, who died in 1984.
She is survived by a son, Kevin of Wichita; a daughter, Brenda and Bobby Jaso of Hesston; a brother-in-law, William R. Klassen of Olathe; a sister-in-law, Margaret Klassen of Olathe; and two grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with the American Diabetes Association and Sterling House of McPherson, in care of Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Ruth Krause
Ruth M. Krause, 91, died June 13 in Herington.
Services were June 16 at St. John?s Lutheran Church in Lincolnville with Alan Stahlecker officiating. Burial was in Lincolnville Cemetery.
She was born June 5, 1916, to William and Mary (Hammer) Gutsch in rural Burdick. On Jan. 26, 1936, she was married to William Krause, who died in 1993.
She is survived by a son, Lyle of Lincolnville; a daughter, Norma and Don Field of Pace, Fla.; a sister, Laura Edwards of Herington; sister-in-law, Esther Groneman; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with St. John?s Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Hour in care of Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion.
