? brad cody sr., 61, died Nov. 25 at Salem Home in Hillsboro.

The family will have the service at a later date.

He was born June 18, 1954, to Balis Andrew and Barbara Azlee (Canup) Cody Sr. at Waukegan, Ill. His wife, Helen Petie Cody, survives.

Other survivors include sons Jonny of Zion, Ill., Robert Blade of Georgia, Bradford Amos Jr. of Hillsboro; brothers Balis Andrew Sr. of Atlanta, Ga., Barry Arnold of Sauk Village, Ill., and Brian Alan of Gary, Ind.; sister Belmer Kelly of Lynwood, Ill., and two grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Brad Cody Memorial Fund and sent in care of Jost Funeral Home P.O. Box 266 Hillsboro, KS 67063.

? kay e. heidebrecht, 76, of Marion, and co-owner and operator of Quality Market with her husband, died Nov. 28 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Wichita.

The service is at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, at Strassburg Baptist Church in Marion.

Burial will follow at the Marion Cemetery, Marion.

She was born Nov. 20, 1939, to Clinton and Marguerite (Woodring) Swan at Wichita. On Sept. 13, 1958, she was married to Leland Heidebrecht, who survives.

Other survivors include sons Scott and wife Rolana of Marion and Dale and wife Christine of Wichita Falls, Texas; sister Shirley Steppe and husband Don of Overland Park; brother Paul and wife Kathy Swan of Marion and five grandsons.

Memorials may be made to Strassburg Baptist Church, and sent in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm, Marion, KS 66861, also in charge of arrangements.

? francEs Donella lais, 77, a school baker of Newton, died Nov. 25 at Wichita. The service is at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, at Salem United Methodist Church, Newton with pastor Ron Kite officiating.

Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Dec. 3 at Salem United Methodist Church, Newton.

Burial will be at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.

She was born Sept. 9, 1938, to Don Herbert and Frances Roseanna Ficklin Thornton at Ponca City, Okla. On May 10, 1959, she was married to Victor Leon Lais, who predeceased her.

Survivors include daughters DaLonna Diane and husband Del Schroder and Debra DaNaye and husband Ernie Aragon; brother Gary Mac Thornton; sisters Sharon Lynette Windson and Sheryl Kay Baker; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House or Harry Hynes Hospice and sent in care of Baker Funeral Home, 114 N. Sycamore, Peabody, KS 66866.
