Mary Just
Mary L. Just, 81, homemaker, died July 30 at Salem Nursing Home in Hillsboro.
The service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 2, at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church with pastors Dave Plett and Loyal Martin officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. in Hillsboro MB Cemetery.
The family will receive guests from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Jost Funeral Home.
She was born March 23, 1926, to Peter and Mary Goertz Goentzel in Marion. On Aug. 10, 1955, she was married to Harold Just, who survives in Hillsboro.
Survivors also include sons Dennis and Sara Just of Moundridge and Leroy and Jill Just of Hillsboro, and daughters Shirley Just of Denver, Colo., and Dorothy Deckert of Wichita; brothers Vernon Goentzel of Marion and Ben Goentzel of Hillsboro; a sister, Ruth Goentzel of Hillsboro; and six grandchildren.
Memorials have been established with Salem Nursing Home and Hillsboro MB Church.

Benjamin Schmidt
Benjamin Alvin Schmidt, 88, of Grain Valley, Mo., died July 19 at Christian Health Care in Nevada, Mo.
The service was July 22 at Royer Funeral Home in Grain Valley, Mo., with Rand Millich officiating. Burial was in Johannesthal Cemetery, near Hillsboro.
He was born June 17, 1919, to Cornelius and Clara (Unruh) Schmidt, in Wolf Point, Mont. On Aug. 30, 1942, he was married to Frieda Guhr, who survives.
Survivors also include four sons, Richard Schmidt and Calvin Schmidt and wife Judith, all of of Nevada, Mo., Wayne Schmidt and wife Patty of Moscow, Idaho, and James Schmidt and wife Venita of Grain Valley, Mo.; Nadine Szmykowiak of independence, Mo., and Elaine DenHouter and husband Dan of Ann Arbor, Mich.; a brother, Orval Schmidt of Nampa, Idaho; a sister, Gladys Schmidt of Eureka, Ill., 23 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Alfred H. Voth
Alfred H. Voth, 88, former service station owner and operator, died July 26 at Via Christi-St. Francis in Wichita.
The service was held July 30 at Tabor Mennonite Church, rural Goessel, with pastor Corey Miller officiating.
He was born Feb. 11, 1919, to Henry F. and Elizabeth (Schmidt) Voth at Goessel. On April 2, 1943, he was married to Rosella ?Rosie? P. Funk, who survives in Hesston.
Survivors also include four sons, Richard Voth of Tulsa, Okla., Kenneth Voth of South Bend, Ind., Dennis Voth of Hesston and Gerald Voth of Walton; a daughter, Diana Hull of Goodyear, Ariz.; a brother, Ernie Voth of Buffalo Mills, Pa.; three sisters, Marna Abrahams of Goessel, Norma Martenez of Payson, Ariz., and Lila Harris of Newton; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with Mennonite Diaster Service, in care of Miller Funeral Home of Hesston.
