? Marna Sara Voth Abrahams, 91, a homemaker of Goessel, died Sept. 16.

A memorial service will be at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, in the Tabor Mennonite Church Fellowship Hall, 891 Chisholm Trail Road, Newton, with pastor Phil Schmidt officiating.

Burial will be at Tabor Mennonite Church Cemetery.

She was born Jan. 8, 1922, to Henry F. and Elizabeth Schmidt Voth in Goessel. On Oct. 14, 1941, she was married to Willis ?Bill? Abrahams, who predeceased her Oct. 30, 2005.

Survivors include sons Russ and Barb of Goessel, Rod and Ilona of Goessel and Ryan and Daria of Kintnersville, Pa., daughters Marnette and Ronald Hatchett of rural Newton, Carol Abrahams and Terry Holtz of Goessel; brother Ernie Voth of Buffalo Mills, Pa., sisters Lila Harris of Goessel and Norma Martinez of Goessel, eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

? Ruby Ann Hefley, 91, died Sept. 22 in Hillsboro.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, at Hillsboro United Methodist Church, 905 East D St., Hillsboro, with pastor Morita Truman officiating.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, at Jost Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Hillsboro.

She was born Aug. 3, 1922, to Henry and Matilda (Schmidt) Bartel in Hillsboro. On Oct. 19, 1947, she was married to Maynard (H.V.) Hefley, who predeceased her in 2004.

Survivors include sons Jim and Leanna Hefley of Hillsboro and Jon and Sonja Hefley of rural Marion; daughter Deborah and Vince Collier of Newton; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

? Harold G. Klassen, 82, employed at AGCO for 42 years, died Sept. 17 at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.

A memorial service was held Saturday at the Hesston Mennonite Church, with pastors John Murray and Amy Nissley Stauffer officiating.

He was born May 7, 1931, to Gustav and Martha Nickel Klassen in Goessel. On May 7, 1956, he was married to Joanne Elizabeth Nikkel, who survives.

Other survivors include sons Thomas and Carolyn of Salt Lake City, Utah, Bryce of Phoenix, Ariz., and two grandchildren.

? Gary Dean Pepperd, 70, a retired service technician, of Canton, died Sept. 22 at Hospice and Homecare of Reno County, Hutchinson.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at Crown Hill Cemetery in Coldwater.

Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at Olson?s Mortuary, 139 N. Main St., Canton.

He was born Oct. 6, 1942, to Merle and Leona (Jordon) Pepperd at Meade.

? Donna J. Seifert, 79, employed at Hannaford Abstract in Marion, died Sept 22 at the Cedars in McPherson.

The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, at the Strassburg Baptist Church in rural Marion.

Burial will be at 1 p.m. at Marion Cemetery.

Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion.

She was born Sept. 13, 1934, to Milton and Hazel Hawbecker Stenzel at Marion.

Survivors include sons Brad of Junction City and Barry of Mesa, Ariz.; daughters Teresa Loney of Sunrise Beach, Mo., Lisa of Kansas City, and Janice and Melinda Seifert of McPherson; sisters Neva Winsky of Springfield, Mo., and Naomi Babb of Lubbock, Texas; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

? Martin J. Sklenar, 53, of Mulvane, employed with law enforcement agencies, died Sept. 17 at his home.

A graveside service was Sept. 20, at Pilsen Cemetery.

He was born Oct. 15, 1959, to Donald and Betty (McVicker) Sklenar in Marion.

He had served his country with the United States Air Force. He had worked for the Andover Police, the Butler County Sheriff?s office, and later worked as a security officer.

He is survived by his mother; a sister, Rita VanOrden (Gary) of Mulvane; a niece Heather Konklin and her children: Dustin and Miah all of Mulvane.
