? weston dean jost and nora mae jost,

two- day-old twins, of Burdick, died Sept. 17 at Stormont-Vail Medical Center at Topeka.

A private family graveside service was Sept. 20 with the twins? maternal grandfather, pastor Wendell Davelaar, officiating at the Burdick Methodist Cemetery.

Weston Dean and Nora Mae were born Sept. 15.

Survivors include their parents, James and Rachel Jost of Burdick; paternal grandmother Diana Jost of Burdick; maternal grandparents Wendell and Rose Davelaar of Rudyard, Mich.; maternal great-grandparents Bill and Herkie Davelaar of Sioux Center, Iowa, and aunts, uncles and cousins.

? JACK R. KERBS, 84,

of Marion, and a retired maintenance supervisor with the Kansas Department of Transportation, died Sept. 15 at Marion Assisted Living.

The service was Sept. 19 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Marion, with pastor Clark M. Davis officiating.

He was born July 8, 1930, to Fred and Elizabeth (Vogel) Kerbs at McClave, Colo. On Oct. 27, 1971, he was married to Treva Mae Kerbs, who predeceased him July 5, 2013.

Survivors include daughters Jackie and Kelly Rector of Lawrence, Gwen Seidel of Marion and Crystal and husband David Nahirny of Houston, Texas; sister Frances Kerbs Decker of Fort Collins, Colo.; brother-in-laws Keith Kelsey of Newton and Forrest and Bea Kelsey of Marion; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends.

of Hillsboro, a retired cook, died Sept. 21 at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.

The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 24 2014 at Zion Lutheran Church, 106 N. Lincoln, Hillsboro, with pastor Clark M. Davis officiating.

Burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Hillsboro.

She was born Sept. 15, 1911, to Adam H. and Eva (Schultz) Unruh at Tampa. Her husband, William Lais, predeceased her in 1985.

Survivors include daughter Garnette Laubhan of Augusta; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

of Florence, a retired Kansas Department of Transportation employee, died Sept. 9 at Wesley Valley Medical Center.

The service was Sept. 17 at Holy Family Parish, St. Patrick?s Church, Florence, with Father Darrin May officiating.

Burial was at Mt. Calvary Cemetery at Florence.

He was born Jan. 6, 1940, to Juan and Josephine (Morales) Martinez Davara. His wife, Bea, predeceased him.

Survivors include sons Marcos of McPherson, John of Spartansburg, Pa., and Reyes of Newton; brother Lupe of Newton; sisters Dorothy Pineda and Louisa Gomez, both of Chicago, Ill., and Angie Garcia and Betty Martinez Guerrero, both of Newton; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

? eugene f. ?gene? stika, 71,

of Lincolnville, a truck driver, farmer and stockman, died Sept. 19 at St. Luke Living Center, Marion.

Services were Sept. 22 at Holy Family Parish, St. John Nepomucene Church, Pilsen.

Burial was at Pilsen Cemetery.

He was born June 9, 1943, to Mike and Helen (Vavra) Stika at Tampa. His first marriage was to Elaine Reznicek. He later married Judy Novak Nickel, who survives.

Other survivors include sons Michael and wife Angie of Burdick, John and wife Deanna of Creston, Ohio, and Jason and wife Shelly of Lincolnville; stepchildren Kerry Nickel of Minneapolis, Kim Poague and husband Dave of Salina and Kacey Nickel and wife Karen of Tampa; brother LaVerne and wife Janice Stika of Herington and 19 grandchildren.

? edith marie (jantz) unruh, 98,

died Sept. 22 at her home in Newton.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Sept. 27 at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel, 215 N. Main St., Newton.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, at Petersen Funeral Home, Newton.

Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Peace Valley Cemetery, east of Roxbury.

She was born Feb. 7, 1916, to John B. and Elizabeth (Wadel) Jantz on a farm near Greensburg. On April 20, 1933, she was married to LeeVern Unruh, who predeceased her Oct. 4, 1994.

Survivors include son Gary and wife Nola, Clay Center; daughter Karen Becker, Newton; sister Leona Eason, Atwater, Calif.; brother Curtis Jantz, Dallas, Ore., Clifford Jantz, Canton, and Chester Jantz, Greensburg; three grandsons; three great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; three step-grandsons and one step-granddaughter.
