Ruth Wenger, 90, farmer, died Wednesday, April 30, at Salem Home in Hillsboro.
The funeral was 10 a.m. Friday, May 2, at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church with pastor Dave Plett officiating. The burial was private.
She was born Aug. 27, 1917, to G.M. and Helena (Klassen) Warkentin at Lehigh. In September 1938 she was married to Nroman Wenger, who predeceased her in 1997.
She is survived by a son, Cecil of Manhattan; two daughters, Jeanenne Koslowsky of Mesa, Ariz., and Beverly Pack, Athens, Ala.; three sisters, Mary Thiessen and Helen Thiessen, both of Hillsboro, and Lydia McDonald of Tulsa, Okla.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was from 8 a.m. until the start of the funeral at the church.
