She was born Aug. 13, 1926, to Menno and Edna Epp Dirksen at Moundridge. On Sept. 4, 1947, she was married to Otto Bartel, who predeceased her in 2004.
Survivors include three daughters, Carol and husband Ron Hartzler of Wichita, Bev and husband Roger Claassen of Plymouth, Neb., and Jolene Dirksen of Newton; a brother, Larry and wife Marybeth Dirksen of Anaheim, Calif.; sister-in-law Francis Dirksen of Marion; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was born June 19, 1925, to Benjamin B. rand Agnes Woldt Schmidt at Hillsboro. On Aug. 25, 1953, he was married to Dannette Ellen Strand, who predeceased him in 2002.
Survivors include daughter Leannette Montgomery of Salina; son Benjamin Schmidt of Enid, Okla.; sister Marjorie Penner of Green River, Wyo.; one grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is survived by three sons, Don and wife Janet of Dinuba, Calif., John and wife Geri and Tim and wife Janet, both of Reedley; a brother, Robert Heinze and wife Vivian of Visalia, Calif.; a sister, Norma Goetz of Puyallup, Wash.; and nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was born April 12, 1928, to James Luther and Gladys (Merrell) Phillips at Newton. On Sept. 22, 1946, she was married to Richard L. Wyss, who predeceased her.
Survivors include children Sandra and Terry Rodgers of Garden City, Richard Jr. and Darla Wyss of Newton, Marvin and Paula Wyss of Marion and Jeff and Lynda Wyss of Florence; siblings Bob Phillips of Hillsboro, Beverly Lefever and Kenneth Phillips, both of El Dorado, and Dorothy Koehn of Newton; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
