• betty i. bean, 73, of Hillsboro, died Friday, Oct. 7, at Salem Home in Hillsboro.

A graveside service was Oct. 11 at Greenwood Ceme­tery in Newton.

She was born April 11, 1943, to Harry and Dolan Glass Geer at Newton. She was married to G. W. Bean, who survives.

Other survivors include children Mark Hiebert of Mustang, Okla., Wendy Johnson of Lyons, Shelly Schale of Hillsboro; two granddaughters; two granddaughters and one brother, Steve Geer.

• betty beneke, 83, employed 27 years at Lin­coln­ville Coop Elevator, died Friday, Oct. 7, at Dignity Care Center in Salina.

The service is at 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lincolnville.

Burial will follow at the Lincolnville Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion.

She was born May 25, 1933, to Karl and Katherine Beisel Frobenius at Lincolnville. On Dec. 8, 1951, she was married to Eldon Beneke, who predeceased her.

Survivors include sons Doug and wife Linda and Larry, all of Salina; sister Lulu Swenson of Lindsborg and four grandsons.

Memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Lincolnville, and sent in care of Zeiner Funeral Homes, 205 Elm, Marion, KS 66861.

• vivian i. conyers, 89, died Oct. 5 at Marion. She was a teller at Marion National Bank and a bookkeeper for Slussser Drilling Co.

Burial was in the Marion Cemetery.

She was born June 26, 1927, to Pete and Katherine (Loewen) Klein at Hillsboro. On Nov. 20, 1964, she was married to Harold Conyers, who predeceased her.

Survivors include children Wayne and wife Mary Ann Conyers, Melanie and husband David Northcutt; eight grandchildren and 10 grandchildren.

A memorial fund has been established at East­moor United Methodist Church and contributions may be sent in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm, Marion, KS 66861.
