Deaths (November 29, 2017)

• Dale bentley, 70, a farm operator, died Nov. 21 in Hillsboro.

A private family service is planned.

He was born April 1, 1947, to Roy and Besie Mae Hen­son Bentley at Mountain Home, Ark.

Survivors include sisters Betty Joe Swayze of Lincoln­ville and Aldean Varguss of California.

No memorial was designated. Jost Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

• pauline winter, 92, of Hillsboro, died Nov. 21 at Mount Hope Nursing Center in Mount Hope.

The service was Nov. 27 at Trinity Mennonite Church, 211 Elm St., Hillsboro.

Burial was at Trinity MB Cemetery in Hillsboro.

She was born March 9, 1925, to Charles and Sarah (Osborne) Kew in Pilsgate, England. On Oct. 27, 1945, she was married to Eddie Winter, who predeceased her in 1992.

Survivors include sons Ken (Ruth) Winter of Hillsboro and Terry (Janet) Winter of Wichita; brother Pat (Gillian) Kew of England; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and six great-great- grandchildren.
