• PAULINE HARMS, 87, died Oct. 26 at Salem Home in Hillsboro.

Celebration of Life Ser­vice is at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3 at the Marion Christian Church and officiated by pastor Carl Helm.

Visitation is from 1-7 p.m. Thursday at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

She was born July 13, 1930, at Goessel to Harry and Hannah (Miller) Ollen­bur­ger. She was married to Verden Harms June 12, 1981, who survives.

Other survivors include sons Ron Cook of Hillsboro and Michael Harms of St. Joseph, Mich., daughters Gail King of Olathe and Te­re­sa Martin of Kansas City, Mo.; brothers Wayne (Carol) Ollenburger of Hillsboro and Delton (Roberta) Ollen­bur­ger of Moundridge; sister-in-law Edie Ollenburger of Hillsboro; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

• PAUL IRVING MAGATHAN, 96, died Oct. 23, in Chase County.

The service will include Rosary at 10:30 a.m. Friday, followed at 11 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Emporia. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Visitation with family is Nov. 2, at the Brown-Ben­nett-Alexander Funeral Home, Cottonwood Falls.

He was born on July 17, 1921, at his home in rural Lyon County to Emmett Monford Magathan and Frances Agnes (nee Rippert) Magathan.

• LAURA (HAAS) OLLEK, 98, died Oct. 9 at Addington Place Assisted Living in Lee’s Summit, Mo.

Visitation is at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3, at Grace Lutheran Church in McPherson with pastor Dale Dumperth officiating. Internment will follow at Lehigh Township Cemetery.

She and her twin sister were born Nov. 28, 1918, to Henry H. and Katie (Stein­ert) Haas on the family farm outside Lehigh.

On Oct. 4, 1936, she was married to Adolph Ollek, who predeceased her.

She is survived by her daughter, Lois (Glenn) Lorei of Lee’s Summit; two grandson, Jason (Crystal) Lorei of Lee’s Summit and Ryan (Ashley) Lorei of Leawood; three great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter.

• RHONDA R. SCHINNERER, 60, died Oct. 12 at Kidron Bethel in North Newton.

The graveside service is at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at Strassburg Cemetery with Chaplain Eric Massa­nari officiating. After the service everyone is invited to the home of Rodney and Diane Richmond for a time of food and fellowship.

She was born Oct. 1, 1957, to Ralph and Wanda (Propp) Richmond at Marion.

Survivors include son Damion Schinnerer of Ocala, Fla.; her parents; brothers Rodney (Diane) Richmond of Marion, Ran­dall (Ramona) Richmond of Salina; nieces, a nephew, and a great-niece.
