? Levi brown, 88,

died May 11 at Peabody Care Center.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 25, at Jost Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington, Hillsboro.

Burial will be at Durham Park Cemetery in rural Durham.

He was born Sept. 1, 1924, to Michael and Lena (Muth) Brown in Newrockford, N.D. On Oct. 3, 1942, he was married to Georgia Dick, who survives.

Other survivors include son Jerald and Almadona Brown of Hillsboro; daughter Jo Ann and Mark Taku of San Jose, Calif.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Hillsboro American Legion Post 366 and sent in care of Jost Funeral Home P.O. Box 266 Hillsboro, KS 67063.

 

? eula l. colle, 91,

a teacher and homemaker, died May 13 at Meadowlark Adult Care Home in Wichita.

The funeral was May 15 at Valley United Methodist Church, 300 Santa Fe St., Marion. Burial was at Marion Cemetery.

She was born Sept. 12, 1921, to Walter and Pearl White Tosh south of Valley Falls. On March 1, 1942, she was married to Wayne Colle, who predeceased her in 2003.

Survivors include sons Tim of Wichita, Neil of McPherson and Brent of Ponca City, Okla.; stepbrother Clarence Irwin and stepsister Lucille Shaw, both of Topeka; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Valley United Methodist Church and sent in care of Zeiner Funeral Home.

 

? irvin d. schroeder, 90,

owner of a local car dealership, died May 14 at Parkside Home in Hillsboro.

The service was May 19 at First Mennonite Church, 102 S. Ash St., Hillsboro.

Burial was May 18 at Buhler Cemetery.

He was born July 23, 1922, to Peter D. and Katherine (Kim) Schroeder in rural Buhler. His wife, Mildred Schroeder, predeceased him in 2009.

Survivors include son Bruce D. and Jan Schroeder of rural Hillsboro; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Trojan Booster Club and sent in care of Jost Funeral Home P.O. Box 266, Hillsboro, KS 67063, also in charge of arrangements.

 

? Jeffrey l. tomlinson, 63,

died May 27 at St. Luke Hospital in Marion from cancer.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, at Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm St., Marion, in charge of arrangements.

Burial will be with military rites at Marion Cemetery.

He was born Nov. 9, 1949, to Robert and Virginia (Berry) Tomlinson at Charleston, W.Va. On Oct. 9, 2971, he was married to Rita (Stika) Tomlinson, who survives.

Other survivors include son Gary Tomlinson of Marion; daughter Karen Dornbush of Newton; brother Michael and Laurinda Tomlinson of Colorado and four grandchildren.

 

? kenneth wiebe, 77,

of Hillsboro, formerly of Durham, died May 17 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita.

The funeral was May 20 at Morning Star Mennonite Church, 3403 Falcon Road, Tampa.

He was born Nov. 22, 1935, to Isaac and Gladys (Redger) Wiebe in Hillsboro. On Oct. 2, 1987, he was married to Sandy, who survives.

Other survivors include sons Doyle and Karalee of Durham and Arden and Judy of Gruver, Texas; daughter Teresa Wiebe of Durham; brothers Ransom of Durham, Clayton of Durham and Richard of Tampa; sisters Lucille Mininger of Almena, Wis., and Christine Friesen of Muleshoe, Texas, and nine grandchildren.
