J.C. Heyman
J. C. Heyman, 73, employed 30 years with the Kansas Turnpike Authority, died Thursday, Feb. 26, at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital in El Dorado.
Services was held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 2, at Burns United Methodist Church with pastor Jim Bush officiating. Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Zeiner Funeral Home. Burial will be at Ebenezer Cemetery near Burns.
He was born March 7, 1935, in Newton and raised by his grandparents Calvin and Hattie Heyman. On July 7, 1962, he was married to Sandra Heath, who survives.
Other survivors include son Jim Heyman and grandson Steven, all of Burns.

Clareen Klassen
Clareen (Duerksen) Klassen, 78, a retired certified medical and nurse assistant from Bethesda Home, died Sunday, March 1, at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.
Services will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, March 6, at the Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church in Goessel with pastors Linda Ewert and Ron Krehbiel officiating. A private burial will take place. Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home in Goessel.
She was born May 20, 1930, to Albert and Irma (Richert) Duerksen in Goessel. On Aug. 1, 1951, she was married to Perry Klassen, who survives.
Other survivors include daughter Sher and John Neufeld of Hesston; sisters Zenora Gard and Joyce and Harold Unruh, all of Newton; brothers Dennis and Norma Duerksen and Donley and Carol Duerksen, all of Hillsboro; sister-in-law Phyllis Voth of Goessel; one grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Marcus Manny
Marcus Patrick Allan Manny, 23, a senior at Tabor College, died Sunday, Feb. 22, in an automobile accident.
Services were held at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 28, in the Restland Funeral Home chapel, 9220 Restland Road, Dallas, Texas. Visitation was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27, at the funeral home. Burial was at Restland Memorial Park.
He was born Oct. 7, 1985. Survivors include parents Patricia and Roland Miranda; brother Alex Miranda; uncle and aunt John and Sheryl Grantham of Lewisville, Texas; grandmother Verda Grantham; father Kenneth Manny of Sachse, Texas; grandmother Theda Clason of Laverne, Okla.; grandparents Jerry and Dolly Lapid; Jill and Josh Lacovic, aunt and uncle, and Christopher Lapid, uncle.
