• irma mary dahl, 102,

of Hillsboro, died Feb. 13.

The service was Feb. 20 at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, 300 Prairie Pointe, Hillsboro.

She was born July 28, 1910.

Survivors include sons Calvin and Donald; daughters Frances Unruh, Lillian Falls, Dorothy Dahl, Sharon Schroeder, Beverly Boese and Barbara Braun; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Wichita Union Rescue Mission and sent in care of Jost Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington, St., Hillsboro, KS 67063.

• STEPHEN W. FISHER, 53,

of Bel Aire, a computer scientist with Boeing, died March 4 at Via Christi-St. Joseph in Wichita.

The funeral was Tuesday at Federated Church, 207 E. Central St., Whitewater. Burial was at the Whitewater Cemetery.

He was born April 30, 1959, to Monte and Carolyn (Cave) Fisher in Big Spring, Texas. On June 19, 1999, he was married to Magda Colón, who survives.

Other survivors include children Christina Montoya of Chandler, Ariz., and Jason Rodriguez of Ft. Campbell, Ky.; his parents of Whitewater; sisters Deanna and Chuck Miller of Valley Center and Deborah and Jerry Butt?l of Whitewater and six grandchildren.

Memorial may be made to the ASPCA or Federated Church and sent in care of Lamb Funeral Home, 120 N. Main St., Whitewater, KS 67154.

 

• alberta b. harms, 84,

a school teacher, died March 5 at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital of El Dorado.

The service was March 8 at First Christian Church, 224 E. Violet Ave., Potwin. Burial was at Walnut Valley Memorial Park of El Dorado.

She was born May 6, 1928, to Otto and Esther (Gaines) Weber in southern Marion County. On April 14, 1950, she was married to Vernon G. Harms, who predeceased her.

Survivors include children Teresa Corfman of Buffalo, Minn., Kent and Dianna Harms of El Dorado, Cindy and John Hearn of El Dorado, and Eric and Kelly Harms of Tulsa, Okla.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one nephew.

Memorials may be made to Remington Elementary School (for the First Grade) or Flinthills Middle School and sent in care of Lamb Funeral Home, 120 S. Main, Whitewater, KS 67154.

 

• james w. muzyka, 57,

died March 7.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, at Kansas Veterans’ Cemetery, Winfield.

He was born Jan. 11, 1957, to Michael and Sandra (Calacicco) Muzyka in Queens, N.Y. He was married to Diane Bedford, who survives.

Other survivors include son Chris Muzyka of Norfolk, Va.; daughter Katrina Muzyka of Wichita; brother Michael Muzyka of Bronx, N.Y. and sister Joan Lizzi of Debary, Fla.

Memorial may be made to Wounded Veterans and sent in care of Jost Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Hillsboro KS 67063, also in charge of arrangements.
