Services were June 24 at Point View Cemetery in Pawnee County. A memorial service is planned at Asbury Park Chapel, Newton, but no date has been set.
She was born June 6, 1927, to Roy Joseph and Sarah Ruth (Yocum) Fertig at Larned.
Survivors include sisters Lorene Estelle Jost and Irene Ruth and Robert C. Jost, both of Hillsboro, and Betty June Dewey of Ellinwood; half-siblings Velma Mae Root of Albuquerque, N.M., Stanley Roy and Elaine Fertig of Saegertown, Penn., and Raymond J. and Jane Fertig of Ellinwood and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was born Nov. 13, 1958, to Charles and Ruth (Skibbe) Heiser in Herington.
He is survived by his parents; brother Mark and Kathy; two nieces and many church family and friends.

soil conservation contractor, farmer and truck driver, died June 26 at Newton Medical Center.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m., June 30 at Holy Family Parish, St. John Nepomucene Church, Pilsen. Rosary is at 7:30 p.m. June 29. Burial will be in the Pilsen Cemetery.
He was born April 13, 1929, to Frank and Christina (Reznicek) Svoboda in Lincolnville. On Dec. 28, 1957, he was married to Barbara Worthington, who survives.

a nurse?s aide of Hillsboro, died June 26 at Wichita.
Services will be at 2 p.m. June 30 at First Mennonite Church, 102 S. Ash St., Hillsboro, with pastor Susan Jantzen officiating. No visitation is scheduled.
She was born Nov. 22, 1944, to Clear and Elizbeth (Doddy) Munson in Hart, Mich. On Dec. 19, 1981, she was married to Don Knak, who survives.
Other survivors include daughters Darla Conklin of Florence and Dawna Mosher of Newton; brothers Kevin Munson of Montague, Mich., and Lowell Munson of Muskegon, Mich.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was born Jan. 25, 1920, to Henry J. and Sara Schroeder Schmidt in Goessel. On May 24, 1957, he was married to Alice Funk, who survives.

She was born Aug. 4, 1918, to Benton Scott and Hattie May (Vinson) Thompson at Cedar Point.
