? Lydia batt, 98,

homemaker, died June 20 at St. Luke Living Center in Marion.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 26, at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Marion, with pastor Josh Wesner officiating. Burial will be in the Strassburg Cemetery, Marion. Visitation is from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, June 25, at Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm St., Marion.

She was born March 19, 1912, to J.H. and Christina (Hopp) Schimpf in Canada. She was married to Charles Batt, who predeceased her.

Survivors include step-son Dean and wife Bettie Batt of Marion; sister Hanna Wood of Hutchinson; and two step-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Emmanual Baptist Church or the St. Luke Living Center and sent in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm St., Marion, KS 66861.

? Marvin J. Gifford, 78,

a McPherson business owner, died June 17 at Memorial Hospital in McPherson.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 24, at Olson?s Mortuary, 139 N. Main, Canton. Burial will be at Canton Town?ship Cemetery. No visitation is scheduled.

He was born Feb. 26, 1932, to Chester Sr. and Gladys (Card?well) Gifford in LaJunta, Colo. On July 25, 1951, he was married to Annabelle Schulz, who survives.

Other survivors are sons Michael and wife Dale, Mark and wife Kathy and Marvin Jay, all of McPherson; brother Virgil of Norman, Okla., five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, McPherson or the Tyler Gifford Care Fund, and sent in care of Olson?s Mortuary, P.O. Box 355, Canton, KS 67428.

? Ruby L. Graumann, 93,

homemaker, died June 17 at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.

The funeral was June 21 at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, 300 Prairie Pointe St., with pastor Dave Plett officiating. Burial in the Hillsboro Mennonite Breth?ren Church cemetery preceded the service.

She was born Oct. 18, 1916, to Herman J. and Sara B. (Eitzen) Funk at Buhler. On June 21, 1942, she was married to Robert C. Graumann, who predeceased her in 2006.

She is survived by two daughters, Pat and husband Al Neufeldt of Sisters, Ore., and Judy and husband Allen Flick of Garland, Texas; a sister, Luella Gunther of Reedley, Calif., four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorials have been established with Parkside Homes and Hospice Care of Kansas.
