? RAYMOND B. DAVIDSON, 92, of Florence, died May 6.

A memorial service was June 16 at Zeiner Funeral Home in Florence.

? SHERILYN DENISE KLASSEN NEUFELD, 59, a deputy and city clerk for North Newton, died June 13 at her home in Hesston.

Services were June 17 at Koerner Heights Church, Newton, with Timothy Mace officiating.

She was born July 1, 1952, to Perry and Clareen Duerksen Klassen at Goessel. She is survived by her husband John Neufeld of Hesston.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 23, at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.

He was born June 18, 1928, to John and Lydia Starkey Solomon. On July 29, 1963, he was married to Shirley Bloomer, who survives. Other survivors include daughter Tammy and David Neal of Inman; son David and Angel Solomon of Huntsville, Ala.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to Avenue of Flags, Prairie Lawn, or Hospice Care of Kansas and sent in care of Baker Funeral Home, 114 Sycamore, Peabody, KS 66866, in charge of arrangements.


? JEANETTE A. WIEDERSTEIN, 84, a retired restaurant manager formerly of Canton, died June 13 at McPherson Hospital.

Services were June 18 at Canton United Methodist Church, 304 W. Allen St., Canton. Burial was at Canton Township Cemetery.

She was born Oct. 28, 1927, to Leslie and Grace Ethel (Schulz) Ripper at Canton. On July 10, 1946, she was married to Verner F. Wiederstein, who predeceased her Sept. 11, 1993.

Survivors include daughter Cinda ?Cindy? L. and Kent Anderson of Galva; sisters Mary Lee Mauk of Augusta, Patsy Unruh of El Dorado and Portia Martin of Valley Center; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law Dolores Hett.

Memorials may be made to Canton UMC, McPherson Hospital or Angel Arms and sent in care of Olson?s Mortuary, P.O. Box 355, Canton, KS 67428.


? SHIRLEY A. WINTER, 83, retired clerk at Quality Market, died Saturday, June 16, at Kansas Christian Home in Newton.

Services were June 18 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Marion. Burial was at Marion Cemetery.

She was born Dec. 16, 1928, to Waldo and Pearle (Dunn) Rathbone in Vesta 6, Penn. She was preceded in death by husbands Alex Sarkett, Lloyd Cusick and Ted Winter.

Survivors include sons Daryl and Lynn Sarkett of El Dorado and Doug and Terri Cusick of Marion; daughters Sandra and Norman Alexander and Karen and Bob Winchester, all of Newton; 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
