? Ruth A. Bartel, 80,

retired bank teller, died Tuesday, June 8, at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.

Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, followed by services at 11 a.m. at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church with pastor Dave Plett officiating.

Visitation with family was from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, at Jost Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Hillsboro.

She was born Feb. 21, 1930, to Allbert F. and Anna (Penner) Bartel in Newton.

Survivors include brothers Vernon A. Bartel and Larry G. Bartel, both of Hillsboro; sister Eunice Nachtigall of Aurora, Neb.; sister-in-law Ethel Bartel of Hillsboro and many nieces and nephews.

? Delbert dale funk, 58,

of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, May 29, at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.

Services were held June 4 at First Mennonite Church of Hillsboro with pastor Randy Smith officiating.

Burial was at Haven of Rest Cemetery in rural Hillsboro.

He was born Jan. 23, 1952, to Allen J. and Leona Tina Wiens Funk in Hillsboro.

Survivors include brothers Lester Funk of rural Marion and Larry Funk and Ron Funk, both of Hillsboro; sisters Joyce Ediger of Moundridge and Jeanette Schaefer of Hillsboro; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews and one great-great niece.

? Linda S. Holub, 47,

died at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita.

Services are pending at Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm St., Marion, KS 66841.

? JoAnn (Lanning) Hummel, 71,

a homemaker, died June 3 at her home in El Dorado.

Services were June 7 at Carlson Funeral Home in El Dorado.

She was born July 28, 1938, to Lawrence and Dorothy (Free?man) Heusner in Burlington. On Oct. 12, 1956, she was married to Tom Lanning. She later married Bernard Dieker. On Oct. 3, 1999, she was married to Harry R. Hummel, who survives.

Other survivors include son Gene Lanning of Marion; daughters LeaAnn Knaak of Hillsboro and Cynthia Lanning Frantz of Wichita; brother James Heusner of El?Dorado; sister Dorothy Gaylor of Park City; half-sister Toni Haggard of Emporia and eight grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the animal shelter in El Dorado and sent to Carlson Funeral Home, 200 S. Star St., El Dorado, KS 67042-2933.

? Beulah mae ?Bea? Onderek, 76,

of Marion, known as the ?Flower Lady? to many residents, died June 11.

The family observed a private service in her honor.

She was born Jan. 31, 1934, to Vester Lee and Flossie (Cobble) Geisler of Tyrone, Mo.

Survivors include husband Charley Junior Onderek; children Lila Bennefield-Lowrey of Cheyenne, Wyo.; Robin Sparbel of Wichita; Lance Onderek and Vance ?Eddie? Onderek, both of Wichita; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
