? Marlon d. Steinert, 88, a dentist, formerly of Lehigh, died Wednesday, July 14, in Raytown, Mo.
Services were held at 2 p.m. July 18 at Blue Ridge Boulevard United Methodist Church, 5055 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, Mo.
He was born March 13, 1922, to David and Martha Steinert. On May 10, 1944, he was married to Margaret L. Matz, who survives.
Other survivors include children Jon, Bob and Lisa; three-in-laws, Lesley, Teresa, and Kurt; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; sister Darlene Balzer and special friends David Brown and Debra Simmons.
Memorials may be made to Blue Ridge Boulevard United Methodist Church or Village Hospice at John Knox Care Center and sent in care of the funeral home, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, Mo. 64133.

? Alma Toews, 69, school teacher, Hillsboro, died Saturday, July 17, at Mercy Hospital in Moundridge.
Services will be held at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, at Alexanderfeld Mennonite Church of God in Christ with ministers Orlin Ensz, Gordon Koehn and Lonnie Penner officiating. Interment will be at Alexander-feld Mennonite Church Cemetery.
Family received guests from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church, located one mile west and one mile south of HIllsboro.
She was born March 27, 1941, to David and Katharina (Reimer) Toews in Steinbach, Manitoba.
Survivors include brother Jim and Olive Toews of Yale, S.D., sister-in-law Verda Toews of Moundridge, sisters Pearl and Marvin Ensz of Hillsboro, Betty and Clarence Penner of Iroquois, S.D., and Clara Toews of Hillsboro.
