DEATHBrooks? donnie ray brooks, 69, retired assembly worker, died Jan. 1 at Peabody Health and Rehab, Peabody.

A memorial service was Jan. 8 at Peabody Christian Church, Peabody.

He was born May 19, 1946, to Harold and Bertha (Friday) Brooks at Newton.

Survivors include brothers Jon and wife Esther Brooks and Harold Brooks, all of Peabody, and Daryl and wife Connie Brooks of Marion; brother-in-law Steven Fensky of Moundridge and nieces and nephews.

? Ralph E. Eickleberry, 73, a retired truck driver of Plainville, died Jan. 3 at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville.

The memorial service was Jan. 9 at Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm St., Marion. Burial was at Marion Ceme?tery.

He was born May 30, 1942, to Glen and Mildred Hanson Eickleberry. On Oct. 22, 1971, he was married to Alma Gibson, who predeceased him March 21, 2001.

Survivors included sons George Gore of Durham, Jeff Gore of Palco, Bill Eickleberry of Wood River, Ill., and Glen Eickleberry of Damar; daughter Sherry Kamp of Wood River; brothers Jack and Richard, both of Illinois; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

? floyd henry lehrman, 88, employed at Beech Aircraft, Lehrman Oil Co., and Ratzloff Draperies, died Jan. 1 at Bethesda Home in Goessel.

A memorial service was Jan. 7 at Bethesda Home, with a private burial

He was born June 2, 1927, to Theodore C. and Betty Enns Lehrman at Goessel.

Survivors include brother Theodore “Jim” Lehrman of Goessel and other relatives and friends.

? phyllis jean ratzloff, 86, of Canton, retired from Sterling Drug in McPherson and as a beautician, died Dec. 15 at Bethany Home in Lindsborg.

A memorial service will is at 10 a.m. Jan. 9 at the Canton Christian Church, 111 N. Fifth St. A private inurnment will take place at a later date.

She was born Feb. 9, 1929, to Clyde and Esther (Bergman) Decker at Tampa. On Sept. 23, 1945, she was married to Eugene Ratzloff, who predeceased her Oct. 20, 2006.

Survivors include sons James and wife Mary Ratzloff of Arvada, Colo., and Donald Ratzloff of Canton; daughter Jeanie Scott of Marquette; brothers Kenny Decker of Lehigh and Karyl Decker of McPherson; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to Bethany Home, Linds?borg, or Gentiva Hospice, McPherson, and sent in care of Olson?s Mortuary, 139 N. Main St., Canton, KS 67428.

? john w. rupp, 77, a retired commercial pilot, died at St. Luke Living Center in Marion.

The service is at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15, at Marion Christian Church.

Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion.

He was born Oct. 27, 1938, to Walter and Evelyn Hauser Rupp at Hillsboro. On Aug. 11, 1963, he was married to Jeanette Russel, who predeceased him.

Survivors include daughter Laura Baldwin of Marion; sister Marlys Jean Hollar of Wichita and three grandsons.

Memorials may be made to Marion Christian Church and sent in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm St., Marion, KS 66861.
