? Susie K. Ellis, 81,

a retired licensed practical nurse of Florence, died Dec. 28 at Newton Medical Center.

A graveside service was Jan. 3 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Florence with pastor Jeff Lee officiating.

She was born March 13, 1932, in Hutchinson. Her husband, Laurel, predeceased her in 1985.

Survivors include sons Russell, Kyle and Mike; daughter Ruth Ogle of Florence; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Florence United Methodist Church and sent in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, P.O. Box 6, Marion, KS 66861, also in charge of arrangements.

? Gladys Ruth (Woelk) Esau, 82,

died Dec. 31 at Asbury Park in Newton.

The funeral was Jan. 4 at Bethel College Mennonite Church, North Newton. Burial was at Walton Cemetery following the service.

She was born Feb. 19, 1931, to Henry and Anna Woelk, at Goessel. On Nov. 6, 1949, she was married to Marvin Esau, who survives.

Other survivors include daughters Donna and Keith Woolery of North Newton and Linda and David Miller of Wichita; son John and Shirley Esau of Walton; daughter-in-law Becky Esau of Walton; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Newton Community Playschool and sent in care of Petersen Family Funeral Home, 215 N. Main St., Newton, KS 67114, also in charge of arrangements.

? Gary Robert Fred?rickson, 68,

employed with a communication company and the city of Marion, died at his home Jan. 3.

He was born Aug. 26, 1945, to Robert and Lucille (Hurt) Fredrickson in Minneapolis, Minn.

Survivors include brother John; children Dana, Heather and Aaron; grandchildren; nieces; nephews; great-nieces and great nephews.

? Glenn Edgar Kyle, 89,

a lifelong farmer in rural Peabody, died Jan. 5 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, at Holy Family Parish, 815 Marion St., Florence.

Burial will be at St. Mar?garet Mary Cemetery in Burns.

He was born Oct. 6, 1924, to Paul and Myrtle (Haw?becker) Kyle in Chapman. On Sept. 6, 1945, he was married to Betty Jane Walter, who survives.

Survivors also include sons Daniel and wife Robin Kyle of Florence and Robert and wife Becky Kyle of Pea?body; two grandsons and sister-in-law Joyce Kyle of Burns.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer?s Associa?tion and Harry Hynes Mem?orial Hospice in Wichita.
