? J. Marlin Goudy, 76,
of Canton, a retired production operator for CertainTeed Corp., McPherson, died Jan. 19 at Bethesda Home in Goessel.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, at the First Baptist Church in Canton. Burial will be at Canton Township Cemetery.
He was born March 1, 1937, to Harry Asher and Mildred Ruth (Huffman) Goudy at Canton. On June 27, 1981, he was married to Helen E. Johnson, who survives.
Other survivors include daughter Marlene Kay Andreas of McPherson and one granddaughter.

? Gerald L. Holub, 70,
of Lost Springs, a machinist at AGCO Corp., died Jan. 15, at Memorial Hospital in Abilene.
He was born July 10, 1943, to Louis and Mary (Tajchman) Holub at Lost Springs. On Nov. 29, 1969, he was married to Paulette E. Bezdek, who survives.
Survivors include son Greg and wife Pam of Lost Springs; siblings Ed Holub and wife Judy of Wamego, Kenny Holub of Tampa, Rose Mary Brasil and husband Mike of Lakewood, Colo., Kathryn Walker of Coppell, Texas, and Marian Holub and Maureen Holub, both of Newton; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
All services will be at Holy Family Parish, St. John Nepomucene Church in Pilsen with rosary being at 7 p.m. Jan. 24 and memorial mass at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 25.
Burial will be at Pilsen Cemetery.

of Newton, died Jan. 13 in Wichita.
A memorial service was Jan. 22, at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home in Newton. She was cremated.
She was born Dec. 6, 1972, to Billy K. McFarland and Jerry W. Schmidt in Hedelburg, Germany.
Survivors include her father and his wife, Tootsie, of Hillsboro; sons Christopher James Schmidt of Wichita and Alex Wayne Schmidt of Newton; brother Jeffrey Lee and wife Lori Schmidt of Augusta; stepbrothers Chris Frantz and Terri Pierce of Hillsboro and Mitchell and wife Jessica Frantz and their children of Hillsboro; companion Mike Kunkel and his two children.

of Marion, died her Jan. 10 at her home.
She was born Jan. 3, 1935, to Howard E. and Bernice A. (Utting) Ford in Antelope. She attended Marion public schools and graduated in 1952.
On Jan. 17, 1953, she was married to Carl E. Stovall of Florence, who survives. She also is survived by daughters Carla Jo Stovall Steckline and husband Larry of Gar?den Plain, and Donna Jo Hett and husband Jack of Marion; a brother, Neil Osgood of Plano, Texas. She is also survived by three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
