Grace Annette (Hiebert) Hench

60, born in Hillsboro, died Saturday, Jan. 16, in Claremont, Calif.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Cemetery, Hillsboro, with pastor Brad Penner officiating.

She was born June 11, 1949, to George and Mabel Violet (Wall) Hiebert in Hillsboro. On Oct. 11, 1986, she was married to Ronald Larry Hench at Pasadena, Calif., who survives.

Other survivors include nieces Bonnie Wilson of Kuwait and Vessa Narda of Clovis, N. M.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and sent in care of Jost Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Hillsboro, KS 67063.

101, of North Newton, a college administrator, pastor and author, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Bethesda Home in Goessel.

Services were held Saturday, Jan. 16, at Bethel College Mennonite Church, 2600 College Ave., North Newton, with pastor Ruth Harder officiating. Burial was at Restlawn Gardens of Memory in rural Newton.

He was born March 16, 1908, to Cornelius C. and Kathrina Unrau Wedel in Goessel.

In 1928, he was married to Martha Quiring, who predeceased him.

Suvivors include daughters Eleanor and Arnold Heckendorn of Sun City, Ariz., and Judith and Mark Arthur of Russell; six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Bethel College and sent in care of Petersen Funeral Home, 215 N. Newton, KS 67114.in charge of arrangements.
