? cynthia m. blount, 60, a homemaker and manager of Marion Historical Museum, died Jan. 30 at her home in Marion.

The service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, at Eastmoor United Methodist Church, Marion. Burial will follow at the Marion Cemetery.

Visitation is from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion.

She was born Feb. 10, 1955, to Jack and Ella (Meier) Swain, at Houston, Texas. On Feb. 14, 1973, she was married to Richard P. Blount, who survives.

Other survivors include daughters Jennifer and husband Marc Nuessen of Cheney; Sarah and husband Flint Feather of Conway Springs; twins Suzanne and husband Thad Hubele of Gypsum and Catherine and husband David Forsyth of Erie; her mother of Marion; sister Cecilie Swain and husband Fred Parker of Bella Vista, Ark., and 12 grandchildren.

OBITDiener? Vera (loucks) diener, 93, formerly of Canton, died Jan. 24 at Maple Lawn Manor, Hydro, Okla.

The memorial service is at 10 a.m. March 14 at Spring Valley Mennonite Church of Canton, 1089 29th Ave.

She was born July 30, 1922 to Joseph S. and Clara (Bitikofer) Loucks at Canton. On Nov. 13, 1945, she was married to Jesse S. Diener, who predeceased her.

Survivors include daughters Phyllis and husband Robert Stutzman of Weatherford, Okla., and Shirley and husband Lonnie Barker of Goshen, Ind.; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

? Clayton k. fast, 66, employed at AGCO, died Jan. 25 at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.

The service was Jan. 30 at Hillcrest Four Square Church, Newton, with pastor Tony Johnson officiating. Burial was at Alexanderwohl Cemetery, Goessel.

He was born May 29, 1949, to Anton and Elizabeth “Betty” Kliewer Fast at Goessel. On Sept. 16, 2000, he was married to Cheryl Erb, who survives.

Other survivors include children Cameron (Lori Bowen) Fast of Hamilton, Mo., Abigail Hochstetler of Hesston, Jeremy (Erin) Erb of Wichita, and Joshua (Sarah) Erb of Manhattan; four grandchildren; sisters Winifred (Charlie) Frank of Wichita and Arlene (Laverne) Goossen of Goessel.

? charlotte a. morgan, 82, a housewife of Canton, died Jan. 26 at McPherson Hospital in McPherson.

The service was Feb. 1 at Canton Christian Church. Burial was at Canton Township Cemetery.

She was born Nov. 27, 1933, to Charles Sr. and Ann (Kottnick) Stout. On June 24, 1951, she was married to Lewis Morgan, who survives.

Other survivors include daughter Lou Ann and husband Chris Olds of Canton; sons James Morgan and William and wife Rebecca Morgan, all of Canton; brother Charles Jr. and wife Sandra of Pittsburg; one granddaughter and four great-grandchildren.

? mary louise Regalado, 45, of Marion, a certified nurse assistant, died from cancer on Jan. 23 at Wichita.

A memorial service is at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, at Cindy?s Family Cafe, 211 E. Main St., Marion.

She was born Nov. 21, 1970, to John Thorne and Juliette Tarantino at Goshen, N.Y.

Survivors include her parents; daughters Connie French and Rebecca Clay, both of Marion; son Joshua Woods of Marion; brothers Shane Daniels, Shawn Daniels and John Daniels; sisters Janette Fortier, Connie Gauthier, Carol Baltimore, Yvette Collier, Christine Accordino and Nadine Reedy and 17 nieces and nephews.

Baker Funeral Home in Peabody was in charge of arrangements.

? jerry schmidt, 75, of Hillsboro, died Jan. 29 at Via Christi St. Francis.

The service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, at Hillsboro United Methodist Church, 905 East D St. Visitation is from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Jost Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington, Hillsboro.

He was born Jan. 2, 1941, to Isaac and Kate (Dyck) Schmidt. His wife, Mary ?Tootsie? Schmidt, survives.

Survivors also include son Jeff and wife Lori Schmidt of Augusta; stepsons Chris Frantz (Terry Pierce) of Hillsboro and Mitch Frantz of Hillsboro; brother Dale and wife Tina Schmidt of McPherson; sister Mary Jane Janzen of Goessel and six grandchildren.

? Edward e. ?ed? siebert, 74, of Marion, a plant manager at Lewis and West Inc. in El Dorado, died Jan. 28 at his home.

A private service is planned for both he and his wife at Marion Cemetery. Cremation took place.

He was born May 3, 1941, to Wilmer and Mildred (Bluhm) Siebert at Hillsboro. On Nov. 10, 1973, he was married to Laquetta ?Luke? Cunningham, who predeceased him.

Survivors include children Rick and wife Kelly Siebert of rural Allen and Julie Ascencio of St. Peters, Mo.; stepchildren Charles and wife Cindy Reece of Hillsboro and Tracy and wife Lynn Garrison of Edmund, Okla.; siblings Richard and wife Darlene Siebert of Wichita, Jerry and wife Micki Siebert of Cedar Point and Karen and husband Mike Regnier of Marion; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

? dean d. wiederstein, 89, formerly of rural Galva and a retired contractor, died Jan. 20 at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Inman.

A memorial service was Jan. 30 at Galva Christian Church.

He was born Jan. 13, 1927, to Albert and Elizabeth (Goertz) Wiederstein at rural Galva. On Feb. 22, 1945, he was married to June Regier, predeceased him on May 14, 2015.

Survivors include son Jim and wife Becky Wiederstein of Colorado; daughters Cindy and husband Robert Baldwin of Galva, Dee Wiederstein of California, Jill Allen of McPherson and Dinah Wiederstein and Charles of Haysville; sister Mary Jane Tatro of Hutchinson; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
