69, of Goessel, a law enforcement officer, died Jan. 30 at Newton Medical Center in Newton.

Services will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, at the Hillsboro American Legion, 405 Floral Drive, Hillsboro.

He was born Jan. 18, 1941, to Jesse Allen and Mary Jane (Branson) Britton in Cedar Point.

On Jan. 18, 1986, he was married to Barbara J. Wettestad, who survives.

Other survivors include sons Lee Britton of Peabody, Dennis and Linda Britton of Canton and Darryl and Sally Thiesen of Goessel; daughters Tammy and Brian Whiteside of Peabody and Daynna and Chip DuFriend of Andover; sister Doris Pletcher of Topeka; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

? Barbara Jean (Presley) Coon

59, of Hillsboro, a retired AGCO assembler, died Jan. 31 at Via Christi-St. Francis in Wichita.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, at Corner?stone Mortuary, 5318 E. 37th St. North, Wichita. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, with family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., also at the funeral home.

A private burial will be held at Kechi Cemetery, Kechi.

She was born Dec. 16, 1950, to Lela Marie (Hamilton) and Jack Andrew Presley in Diamond, Mo.

Survivors include children Leigh Ann and Chris Barnhart of Indiana; Kevin and Amy Coon of Bel Aire; Kellie and Mark Coon of Hillsboro; Kyle Coon and Rachel Mendenhall of Wichita; eight grandchildren; siblings Jack and Dora Presley, Janice Slater, Shirley and Mike Dennis, Jim and Maddie Presley and Steve and Sunny Presley.

Pattie Lee Dowell

70, of Canton and a librarian, died Jan. 31 at Memorial Hospital in McPherson.

A graveside service is planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, at Empire Cemetery in Galva. Visitation is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, at Olson?s Mortuary, 139 N. Main, Canton.

She was born July 30, 1939, to Cameron and Lura (Templeton) Pence in Cushing, Okla.

On Nov. 13, 1969, she was married to Charles Kenneth Dowell, who survives.

Other survivors include daughters Heather and Eric Burch of Galva, Whitney and Ron Blaylock of Moundridge and Amber and David Tripp of Canton; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial has been established with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and donations may be sent in care of Olson?s Mortuary, P.O. Box 355, Canton, KS 67428.

? Jeanetta L. Hanschu

64, of Ramona, a homemaker, died Jan. 30 at her home.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 3, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Fourth and E streets in Ramona with pastor Clark Davis officiating. Burial will be in Lewis Cemetery, Ramona.

She was born Aug. 8, 1945, to Fred E. and Marguerite E. (Bayes) Utech in Herington. On Aug. 23, 1964, she was married to Alex Junior Hanschu, who survives.

Other survivors include son Jayson and Jan Hanschu of Hillsboro; daughters Jennifer and Jeff Braden of Windom and Jolene and Neil Albrecht of Salina; brothers Garland Utech of Amsterdam, Mo., and Marlon Utech of Collierville, Tenn.; seven grandchildren and other relatives.

? Viola R. Buller-Weinmeister

97, born in Hillsboro and a homemaker, died Jan. 29 at Dillon Living Center in Hutchinson.

Services were Feb. 1, at Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons, with pastor Tim Carey officiating.

Burial was at Lyons Municipal Cemetery.

She was born June 6, 1912, to Jacob and Katharina Thiessen Buller. Her husband, Emil R. Weinmeister predeceased her Oct. 22, 1963.

Survivors include son Rod and Sue Weinmeister, Hutch?inson; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
