? MARTHA V. BROWN, 88,

of Cottonwood Falls, retired from domestic work, died Jan. 25 at Salem Home in Hillsboro.

Graveside services were Jan. 27, at Prairie Grove Cemetery, Cottonwood Falls, Chase County, with pastor Jeff Wintermote officiating.

She was born Sept. 25, 1923 to Carl and Emma (Mau) Mauderly at Elk. On Dec. 8, 1942, she was married to Dorman Brown, who predeceased her.

Survivors include son Ronald G. and Brenda L. Brown of Hillsboro; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

? ALICE VIRGINIA (REIMER) GOERZEN, 84,

a homemaker, died Jan. 29 at Bethesda Home in Goessel.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 4 at Tabor Mennonite Church, 891 N Chisholm Trail, Newton, with lunch following. A private burial took place Jan. 31.

She was born July 29, 1927, to Jacob C. and Agnes (Unruh) Reimer, in Goessel. She was married to Milton H. Goerzen, who predeceased her Nov. 4, 2010.

Survivors include sons Larry and Dora Goerzen of rural Newton and Mike Goerzen of rural Newton; daughters Jennifer and Royce Flaming of rural Newton and Shelley and Jon Buller of rural Hillsboro; 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; sister Helen Dyck and brother LeRoy Reimer. Her brother Elmer Reimer of Loveland, Colo., died later the same day as her death.

? CLIFFORD M. ?BUD? LUCAS, 87,

of Marion, died Jan. 26 at the Kansas City Presbyterian Manor in Kansas City, Kan.

Services were Jan. 30 at Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm St., Marion, with Pastor David Branson officiating. Burial was at Marion Cemetery.

He was born Aug. 8, 2924, to Stuart and Beulah Bueford Lucas in Marion. On Jan. 16, 1946, he was married to Mildred Bezdek, who predeceased him Jan. 2, 2012.

Survivors include son Cliff Lucas of Peabody; sisters Dorothy Kohls of Salina and Wanda Feldhut and Betty Crank both of California; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and other friends.

? DON MIZE, 95,

a watchmaker and jeweler of Hillsboro, died Jan. 27 at Parkside Homes.

Services were Jan. 30 at Zion Lutheran Church, 106 N. Lincoln, Hillsboro, with Pastor Brett Huebner officiating. Burial was at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Hillsboro.

He was born Feb. 23, 1916, to Paul and Mable (Mulkey) Mize in Topeka. On Sept. 8, 1945, he was married to Joyce Rice, who predeceased him in 2007.

Survivors include son Frank and Barbara Mize of Wichita; daughter Jacquelyn and Karl Baker of New York City, N.Y.; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

? ELMER H. VOTH, 90,

of Goessel, and a life-long dairy and grain farmer, died Jan. 27 at Via Christi-St. Francis in Wichita.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, at the Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church Cemetery near Goessel. A memorial service follows at 11 a.m. at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church, 1304 Kansas Highway 15, Goessel, with pastors Steve Schmidt and Linda Ewert officiating.

He was born Feb. 4, 1921, to Peter S. and Anna Fast Vothat in Goessel. On Oct. 18, 1952, he was married to Josephine Nikkel.

Survivors include daughters, Nancy and Brian Stucky of Goessel, and Leanne and Byron Githens of Fredonia; son Delton and Janice Voth of Goessel; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren and sister Hilda Buller of Goessel.

He was preceded in death by two infant brothers, Arnold and John; a brother, Rudolf Voth; and a sister, Evelyn Voth.
