Deaths (December 13, 2017)

• JACOLIN L. HAWORTH, 89, of Canton, died Nov. 25 at Bethesda Home in Goessel.

A memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at the Bethesda Home Chapel in Goessel. Private inurnment will occur at a later date.

She was born Nov. 15, 1928, in South Haven to Ellison and Viola (Kerr) Dillon. On Dec. 31, 1948, she was married Lloyd Haworth, who survives.

Other survivors include a son, William of Florence, Ky.; a daughter, Georgia Haworth of Canton; three grandsons; four great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; brothers Randall Dillon of Valley Center and Dane Dillon of Wichita; four sisters, Rose Burroughs of Norfolk, Va., Shirley Schneidewind of Arkansas City, Mary Lou Fuller of Carson City, Nev., and Kay Langley of Ada, Okla.

In lieu of flowers , the family requests that you do acts of kindness or donations in her honor, in care of Olson’s Mortuary, Canton.

• CLIFFORD LUCAS, 69, a U.S. Army veteran, died Nov. 13 at Peabody.

The graveside service was 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, at the Marion Cemetery with pastor Carl Helm officiating.

He was born Dec. 5, 1947, to Clifford and Mildred Bezdek Lucas at Hillsboro and grew up in Marion.

• ernest cecil seibel, 98, a carpenter, died Dec. 8 at Whitewater.

A celebration of life service is 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 14 at Peabody Christian Church with interment at Prairie Lawn cemetery in Peabody. Family will receive guests from 5-7 p.m. at the church Wednesday, Dec. 13.

He was born April 13, 1919, to John and Nellie (Hintz) Seibel in Peabody. On Nov. 19, 1950, he was married to Maxine Atkins, who predeceased him in 2011.

Survivors include a brother, Emery Seibel of Newton; four nieces and five nephews; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

• IVANLEE TIMM, 93, died Dec. 1 at St. Luke Living Center at Marion.

The service was at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, at Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion with pastor Amanda Baker officiating.

• geneva wiselogel, 89, a homemaker, died Dec. 9 at The Cedars in McPherson.

Private family services will be in Parma, Mich., at a later date.

She was born July 18, 1928, to Earl and Lillian (Meisner) Kellogg in Marshall, Mich. On Sept. 7, 1946, she was married to Archie Wiselogel, who predeceased her in 2012.

Survivors include a son, Thomas Wiselogel of Tucson, Ariz.; a daughter, Dianne (Gary) Myers of McPherson; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one brother and four sisters.
