? Irvin Christiansen, 95,

Irvindied Dec. 2 at St. Luke Living Cen?ter in Marion. The funeral was Dec. 6 at Dur?ham Baptist Church in Durham.

Burial was at Canton Township Cemetery.

He was born Jan. 25, 1915, to Henry and Mattie (Garrett) Christiansen of Durham. His wife, Muriel, survives.

Other survivors include sons H. Robert and Evelyn of Washington, D.C.; Gordon and Pat of rural Durham and Dale and Renee of McPherson; daughters, Mona I. and Don Herbers of Leoti and Jan Skiles of Hillsboro; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

? Jolene Elvira Dirksen, 71,

died Nov. 20 at her home in Newton.

A memorial service was Dec. 7 at Goessel Mennonite Church, 109 S. Church St., Goessel, with Pastor Brad Penner officiating.

Burial was at Goessel Mennonite Church Cemetery.

She was born May 30, 1942, to Menno and Edna (Epp) Dirksen at Goessel.

Survivors include brother Larry and Marybeth Dirksen of California; sister-in-law Francis Dirksen of Marion and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and their families.

Miller-Ott Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

? Esther Kleinsasser, 95,

died Dec. 1 at Salem Home in Hillsboro. The service was Dec. 7 at Parkview Church in Hillsboro.

She was born April 12, 1918, to David and Katha?rina (Hofer) Mendel in Hillsboro.

Her husband, Walt, survives. Other survivors include son Joe and Michelle of Hillsboro; daughter Faith and Ron Klaassen of Newark, N.J., and three grandchildren.

died Dec. 2 at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.

The service was Dec. 5 at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 800 E. First St., McPherson.

She was born June 10, 1925, to Jacob and Hulda (May) Dies at Topeka. Her husband, Marlin ?Dutch? Steinle, predeceased her in 2007.

Survivors include daughters Judy and Gary Fleming of Springdale, Ark., and Brenda and David McGinness of Hillsboro; brothers Robert and Ronald; sister Carol Wilkening; four grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
