a retired pipeliner, died Aug. 1 at home in Peabody. The funeral was Aug. 3 at Prairie Lawn Cemetery near Peabody.
He was born Nov. 2, 1924, to Cleo Bowen in Morris, Okla. He lived with his companion, Shir?ley Strotkamp, for more than 50 years.
He is survived by a son, Terry Bowen, a brother, Carlos Girk, and sisters Geraldine Glenn and Erma Nellans.
? HAZEL LUCILLE DIELMAN CRITCHLOW, 95,
a retired bank vice president, died Aug. 4 at Angel Arms, McPherson.
The service is planned for 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 9, at the Canton Christian Church in Canton.
She was born June 30, 1918, to Enos and Mary (Oldfield) Farrell in Hannibal, Mo. In August 1938, she was married to Ted Dielman, who predeceased her in 1978. In October 1978, she was married to Jack Critchlow, who predeceased her in 1998.
She is survived by a son, Terry and Karen Dielman of Colleyville, Texas; a stepson, Joe and Carol Critchlow of Clearwater; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Dielman of Green Valley, Ariz.; a sister-in-law Della Farrell of McPherson; three grandchildren, two step-grandsons and three great-grandchildren.

of Marion, died July 16. The service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, at Aulne United Methodist Church.
He was born Feb. 5, 1959, in Marion and attended school in Oregon.
Preceded in death by his wife, Vicki L. Goddard, his survivors include a son, Gerald Edward Goddard; two brothers, Gene of Longview, Wash., and Howard of Andover; two sisters, Linda Kelly of Roseburg, Ore., and Cindy Tay?lor of Marion; and two grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the church.

a farmer, died Aug. 5 at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.
The service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, officiated by pastor Brian Allen.
Visitation will be 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at HMB Church.
He was born Sept. 2, 1925, to Henry S. and Anna (Klassen) Jost in Saskatchewan, Canada. On June 3, 1949, he was married to Alice Hodel, who survives.
Survivors also include sons Keith and Cheryl Jost and Clyde and Sharon Jost, all of rural Hillsboro; daughters Charlene and Darrell Driggers of Hillsboro and Clara and Curtis Frick of rural Durham; a sister, Vi Hiebert of Newton; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

The funeral was Monday, Aug. 5, at the Buhler Mennonite Brethren Church with pastor Ken Adrian officiating. Burial followed at the Buhler Cemetery.
She was born April 4, 1918, to John J. and Katherina Jantzen Prieb in Hillsboro. On May 22, 1938, she was married to Menno G. Schroeder, who predeceased her.
She is survived by five sons, Dale W. and Phyllis of Denver, Colo., Jerry W. of Bradenton, Fla., Harold and Phyllis of Buhler, Rodney L. and Linda of Hutchinson, and Roger D. and Sheryl of Hutchinson; one daughter, Jolene K. and Brad Snyder of Silver Lake; 21 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service is planned for 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Abilene with pastor Shane Britt officiating.
She was born Jan. 10, 1936, to Harry and Ann (Kappelman) Kohman in Abilene. On May 1, 1955, she was married to Sean Schwarz, who predeceased her in 1988. In September 1993, she was married to Dale Winegerd, who survives.
She also is survived by her children, Mike and wife Pat of Wichita, Terry and wife Vona of Carlton, Dennis and wife Bobbie Jo of Carlton, Alan and wife Amy of Carlton and Cindy and husband Mike Whitely of Solomon; Dale?s children, Luke and wife Kim of Ramona, Matt and wife Elisa of Bettendorf, Iowa; Glen and wife Carey of Brentwood, Tenn.; Ruth and husband Mike Holcomb of Williams?burg, Va.; 35 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, eight sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law, as well as nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Aug. 9 at Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home in Abilene. A private family burial will take place at Fair?view Cemetery near Carlton.
