Frieda Ediger

 

Frieda Ediger, 98, a homemaker, died July 24, at Kings?wood Health Center in Kansas City, Mo.

A memorial service in California is pending. Burial will be in Reedley, Calif.

She was born July 14, 1911, to John C. and Pauline Friesen in Marion County. In November 1930, she was married to J. Wesley Hagen, who predeceased her. In 1970, she was married to Abe S. Ediger, who also predeceased her.

Survivors include daughters Joyce Wakeman of Park Ridge, Ill., and Dorothy Hagen of Kansas City, Mo.; step-children Jeanette Flaming, Evelyn Heinrichs, Dan and Jim Ediger; two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and three step-great-
grandchildren; two sisters, and a brother.

Matthew Thompson

 

Matthew Aaron Thompson, 34, a business owner, died July 20 in Tulsa, Okla.

A memorial service was held Aug. 1 at South Grand Lake Christian Church in Langley, Okla.

He was born July 8, 1975, in Wichita. On June 7, 2008, he was married to Lora Rae Jackson, who survives.

Other survivors include his mother Mary and Allen Goodwin; father, Ron and Carol Thompson; brother Lowell Thompson; grandmother, Jean Thompson; stepbrother, Scott Goodwin; stepsister, Dana and Tom Baniewicz; mother and father-in-law Sara and Clinton Jackson and brother-in-law, Dale Jackson, formerly of Marion.
