a homemaker, died Aug. 18, at Bethesda Home in Goessel.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Aug. 24 at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church, 1304 Kansas Highway 15, Goessel, with pastor Steve Schmidt officiating.

She was born March 21, 1927, to Abraham Friesen and Susanna (Penner) Friesen in Hillsboro. On Aug. 22, 1946, she was married to Irvin Reimer, who survives.

Other survivors include son Howard and Linda Reimer of Ritzville, Wash.; brother Alvin Friesen of Hesston; sisters Evelyn Harms of Moundridge and Linda Bartel of American Falls, Idaho, and one grandchild.

Memorials may be made to Bethesda Home and sent in care of Jost Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Hillsboro, KS 67063-1727.

Services were Aug. 20 at Strassburg Baptist Church, 2249 Pawnee Road, Marion. Burial was at Elmdale Cemetery, Elmdale.

She was born June 8, 1930, to Curtis and Dovey Shaddox. On Aug. 11, 1948, she was married to Earl ?Doc? Wood, who predeceased her.

Survivors include children Michael and Marian Wood of Emporia, Patricia and Vince Tharp of Glenwood Springs, Colo., Sophie and John Melvin of Steamboat Springs, Colo., Becky Wood of Topeka and Nancy and Blair Tharp of Marion; brother J.B. Shaddox of Shawnee, Okla.; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorial may be made to Strassburg Baptist Church or Elmdale Cemetery Association and sent in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm, Marion, KS, 66861.
