of McPherson, a Walmart employee, died Aug. 14 at her home.

The service was Aug. 18 at First United Methodist Church, McPherson. Burial was at Mar?quette Cemetery.

She was born Dec. 10, 1942, to Lewis L. and Josephine A. Potts Graham in Richland County, Ill.

Survivors include sons Allen R. and Susan Geren of Galva and Kevin W. and Janet Geren of Marion; daughter Brenda L. and Tom Hoffman, McPherson; her mother of Marquette; brother Lewis L. and Barbara Graham Jr. of Abilene; 14 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society Relay For Life event and sent in care of Moundridge Funeral Home, 115 W. Cole St., Moundridge, KS 67017.

retired teacher, died Aug. 13 at Newton Medical Center in Newton.

Services were Aug. 17 at Peabody Christian Church.

? MILDRED (MILLIE) IRENE SOYEZ RIFFEL, 92,

of Marion, died Aug. 16 at St. Luke Living Center, Marion.

She was born May 24, 1920, to Nelson and Ida Faye (Lamb) Henninger in Lost Springs. In October 1936, she was married to Harold Fredrick Lipps who predeceased her in 1941. On June 12, 1943, she was married to Richard Gail Soyez, who predeceased her in 1987. On Feb. 10, 1990, she was married to Rhinney Riffel, who predeceased her in 2003.

Survivors include children Phyllis Jean Soyez, Marion, Harold (Butch) and Judy Soyez, Grapevine, Texas, Richard Soyez, Marion, and Robert and Brenda Soyez, Marion; brother Robert Smith, Marion; sister-in-law Lenora Smith, Florence; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

a railroad worker, died Aug. 14 at Via Christi-St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.

The service was Aug. 18 at Our Lady of Guadalupe, Newton.

of Canton, a retired printing business employee and custodian at the State Bank of Canton, died Aug. 14 at McPherson Hospital in McPherson.

The service was Aug. 17 at Canton United Methodist Church. Burial was at Canton Township Cemetery.

She was born March 2, 1920, to Peter J. and Eva (Unruh) Unruh in McPherson County. On March 6, 1938, she was married to Leland Unruh, who predeceased her on March 20, 2009.

Survivors include daughters Glenda and Orman Schmidt of McPherson, Janice and Kenny Nightingale of Moundridge and June and John Paul Unruh of Lamar, Colo.; son-in-law Dwight and Gail Ewert of Canton; brother E.W. ?Bill? Unruh of McPherson; sister Esther Koehn of Dodge City; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

retired farmer and custom hay hauler, of Florence, died Aug. 16 at Salem Home in Hillsboro.

The service was Aug. 21 at Florence United Methodist Church.

Burial was at Ebenezer Cemetery in Burns.

He was born Nov. 22, 1926, to Walter and Lena (Matthyer) Wyss at DeGraff. On Sept. 22, 1946, he was married to Lucille Phillips, who survives.

Other survivors include daughter Sandra and Terry Rogers of Garden City; sons Richard and Darla of Newton; Marvin and Paula of Marion; and Jeff and Lynda of Florence; sister-in-law Hazel of Onaga; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
