? Adina Jost

94, homemaker, died April 15 at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro.

Services were April 18 at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro.

She was born March 10, 1916, to John G. and Tina (Hiebert) Kornelsen in Newton. On April 5, 1936, she was married to Menno B. Jost, who predeceased her.

Survivors include sons Calvin and Tamara Jost of rural Hillsboro and Mark and Muktha Jost of Greensboro, N.C.; daughters Sharon and Dwight Klaassen of Platteville, Wis.; Harriett and James Klassen of Littleton, Colo., and Marcyne and Abe Heinrichs of Abbotsford, B.C.; sister Martha Bartel of Springfield, Mo.; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Parkview Church or Samaritan?s Purse and sent in care of Jost Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington, Hillsboro, KS 67063.

83, Peabody farmer, died April 16 at Newton Medical Center in Newton.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 23, at First Baptist Church, Peabody, with pastor Rodger Charles officiating.

He was born Nov. 23, 1926, to William John and Ella (Eberhard) McPheeters in Peabody. On Nov. 19, 1954, he was married to Vada Ann Truax, who survives.

Other survivors include daughter Pamela and Bruce Carter of Peabody; brother Irvin McPheeters of Peabody; half-brother Melvin Patchett of Easton, Md., and one granddaughter.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Peabody and sent in care of Petersen Funeral Home, 215 N. Main, Newton, KS 67114.

79, retired assistant administrator, died April 17 at Newton Medical Center, Newton.

Services will be at 11 a.m., today (April 21) at Goessel Mennonite Church with pastor Mike Hiebert officiating. Burial will follow in the Goessel Mennonite Church Cemetery.

She was born Feb. 21, 1931, to Lester and Marie Lee Barton in Claremore, Okla. On Sept. 9, 1951, she was married to Richard Reimer, who predeceased her Sept. 28, 2007.

Survivors include son James Reimer of Canton; daughter Nancy Baumen of Maumelle, Ark.; brother Virgil Reimer of Wichita; sisters Norma Foiles of Newton and Neva Reimer of Augusta and four grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Goessel Mennonite Church and sent in care of Miller-Ott Funeral Home, 303 E. Main, Goessel, KS.

formerly from the Goessel area, died April 12 in Punta Gorda, Fla.

An informal celebration of life open house will be from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Goessel Mennonite Church, with a short program at 2 p.m.
