Georgia Brown, 90,

of Hillsboro, died May 6 at Salem Home in Hillsboro.

A private service was at Durham Park Cemetery in rural Durham.

She was born April 21, 1924, to George and Molly (Eberhardt) Dick at Tampa. On Oct. 3, 1942, she was married to Levi Brown, who predeceased her in 2013.

Survivors include son Jerald and wife Almadona Brown of Hillsboro; daughter Jo Ann and husband Mark Taku of San Jose, Calif.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Robert C. Jost, 93,

died May 6 at Parkside Home in Hillsboro.

The service will be at 10 a.m. May 27 at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, 300 Prairie Pointe, Hillsboro.

He was born Aug. 12, 1920, to Peter G. and Elizabeth (Funk) Jost at Hillsboro. His wife, Irene Jost of Hillsboro, survives.

Other survivors include sons Lynn A. and wife Joyce Jost of Sterling, Colo.; daughters Robetta Trapp of North Newton, Nancy and husband Robert Ozick of Falcon, Colo.; grandchildren Gretchen Wagner, Rachel Quick, Craig Jost, Darin Jost and Nathan Ozick; five greatgrandchildren; brother Karl Jost of Hillsboro and sister Katherine Sommerfeld of Lindsborg.

Raymond w. klatt, 82,

a retired farmer and Hesston Corp. employee of Canton, died May 6 at Pine Village, Moundridge.

The service was May 10 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Canton.

Burial was at McPherson Cemetery.

He was born Aug. 24, 1931 at Goessel to Herman and Martha (Windler) Klatt. He was married to Laura Jane Pauls, who predeceased him. He then married Susie Decker, who also predeceased him. He later married Carlene Rosen, who survives.

Other survivors include son Bill and Brenda Klatt of McPherson; daughters Kristi and Richard Morgan of Moundridge and Cheryl Ann and Boyd Ayer of Wichita; six stepchildren; five grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Ted Mcirvin, 89,

died Feb. 13 at Parkside Home in Hillsboro.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at Parkside Home in Hillsboro.

He was born Nov. 24, 1924, to Rex and Anna (Prohaska) McIrvin in Cope, Colo. His wife, Darlene McIrvin, predeceased him in death in 2013.

Survivors include sons Ken and wife Jane of Lehigh, Randy and wife Elaine of Hudson, Colo., Cliff and wife Betty of McPherson and Jim of Graham, Texas; daughter Lori McIrvin of Engberg, Texas; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Tillie Schwendiman, 92,

a retired clothing store clerk, died May 5 at St. Luke Living Center in Marion.

The service will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 15, at Eastmoor United Methodist Church, Marion.

Burial will be in the Marion Cemetery.

She was born April 24, 1921, the twin daughter of George L. and Susie (Balzer) Reiswig at Bartlesville, Okla. On March 26, 1946, she was married to Kenneth Schwendiman, who predeceased her.

Survivors include sons Mike of Newton, Rick of Thomasville, N.C., and Jay of Marion and three grandchildren.

Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion, are entrusted with arrangements.

Evelyn Wiens Thiessen, 93,

of Hydro, Okla., died May 9 at Weatherford, Okla.

The funeral was May 13 at Corn Mennonite Brethren Church, 100 W. Main St., Corn, Okla., with pastor Earl Stephenson officiating.

Burial was at Corn Mennonite Brethren Cemetery.

She was born Jan. 6, 1921, at Hillsboro. On Sept. 21, 1947, she was married to Arthur J. Thiessen, who predeceased her.

Survivors include daughters Nancy and husband Russ Regier of Henderson, Neb., Johanna and husband Orville Flaming of Weatherford, and Lillian and husband Merlin Schantz of Hydro; sons Tim and wife Beckie Thiessen of Canyon, Texas, and Dan and wife Judy Thiessen of Monument, Colo.; 26 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews and friends.

Penelope (Penny) Hein-Unruh, 62,

of Los Angeles, retired assistant vice provost for academic advising at UCLA?s College of Letters and Science, died May 8 at her home.

The service will be 10 a.m., June 7 at Westwood Pres?byterian Church, 10822 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA.

She was born March 9, 1952, to Marvin and Mary Helen Hein. On May 26, 1972, she was married to David Unruh, who survives.

Other survivors include daughter Whitney of Los Angeles; mother Mary Helen Hein of Fresno; mother-in-law Dayle Unruh of Hillsboro; sisters Patricia Hein of Wichita and Holly and Scott Taylor of Aptos, Calif.; sister-in-law Nancy and Joel Klaassen of Hills?boro and one niece and two nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Penelope Hein Unruh Scholarship Fund to benefit the Westwood Presbyterian Preschool, and sent in care of Westwood Pres?byterian Church, 10822 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90024.

Wilma A. Wilcox, 86,

a retired teacher of Lin?colnville, died May 2 at Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan.

The service was May 9 at Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion.

Burial was at Lincolnville Cemetery.

She was born Jan. 28, 1928, to Herman and Amelia (Frobenius) Buethe. On Oct. 23, 1964, she was married to Joe Wilcox, who predeceased her.

Survivors include brother Don Buethe and wife Peggy of Marion, and niece Kim Harms and husband Mark of Lincolnville.
