◼ DOROTHY J. BRYAN, 89, formerly of Canton, died July 13 at her home in Kansas City.
Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to service time Thursday, July 19, at Olson’s Mortuary in Canton. A graveside service followed at 11 a.m. at Canton Township Cemetery.
She was born July 30, 1928 to Marvin and Nellie (Switzer) Wagner in Arriba, Colo. On Sept. 9, 1940, she was married to Eugene Bryan Sr. in McPherson, who predeceased her on Feb. 2, 1989.
Survivors include a son, Eugene Bryan Jr. (Peggy) of Kansas City; three daughters, Marcia (Dave) Smith of Hutchinson, Scotty Bryan of Wichita, and Katherine (Roy) Gerber of Utah; a sister, Georgine Harper, Houston, Texas; two sisters-in law, Nancy Wagner of Salina and Margaret Bryan of Wichita; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Canton Senior Center, in care Olson’s Mortuary, 139 N. Main, P.O. Box 355, Canton, KS 67428.
◼ KATHRYN M. (WEBSTER) LUNDERMAN, 93, of Marion, retired owner of Western Auto Store, died July 20, at the Salina Regional Health Center.
The service is at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 25, at Eastmoor United Methodist Church in Marion. Interment is at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Wichita. Viewing is from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, at Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion.
She was born May 1, 1925, to John Tillman and Cora Bell Boitnott Webster at Quinter. On Nov. 25, 1944, she was married to Sterling Lunderman, who predeceased her.
Survivors include three children and their spouses, Karol Lee and wife Janet Lunderman of Salina, Leslie Dale and wife Linda of Park City, and Joann Sue and husband Ken Staley of Salina; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the church in care of Zeiner Funeral Home, P.O. Box 6, Marion, KS 66861.
◼ REUBEN KENNETH ZERGER, 96, of Marion, farmer, died July 17.
Services were held Saturday, July 21, at the Marion Presbyterian Church.
He was born Jan. 29, 1922, to Benjamin and Mary Krehbiel Zerger, in Moundridge. On Sept. 7, 1944, he was married to Eleanor Mae Voth, who predeceased him.
Survivors include one son, Timothy and wife Chris of Bend, Ore.; one daughter, Julie Zerger Carr and husband Steve of Livingston, Texas; one son-in-law, Edmundo Balcacer of Richmond, Mo.; one brother, Ted, and two sisters, Kathleen and Carol; five granddaughters, one grandson and six great-grandchildren.
