Eleanor (Eitzen) Edins, 83,

a homemaker, died May 1 at Wichita.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, at Ebenfeld Mennonite Breth?ren Church, 1498 Kanza Road, Hillsboro. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time May 7 at the church.

She was born Dec. 17, 1930, to George and Sara (Krause) Flaming at Goessel.

Survivors include sons Galen and wife Shirley Eitzen of Valley Center and Stuart Eitzen of Wichita; daughter Barbara and husband Christopher Riggs of Wichita; brother Howard Flaming of Dallas, Ore.; sisters Aldina Franz of Hillsboro, LaWanda Oblander of Newton and Gladys Nickel of Dayton, Ohio; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Betty ?Jean? Estus, 83,

a homemaker of McPher??son and formerly of Hillsboro, died Saturday, April 26, at McPherson Hospital.

The funeral was at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 1, at Hillsboro United Methodist Church. Burial followed at the McPhe?rson Cemetery.

She was born Aug. 24, 1930, in Forestville, N.Y., to Fay M. and Julia E. (Edwards) McDaniels. On Sept. 11, 1949, she was married to Marion E. ?Mike? Estus, who predeceased her Oct. 14, 1999.

She is survived by five children, Michael Estus (Diana) of Moundridge, Sandra Ayers (Charles) of Hillsboro, Ronald Estus of McPherson, Rodney Estus (Lisa) of Safford, Ariz., and Robert Estus of Hillsboro; a sister, Lorraine Robertson of Hamburg, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

a retired certified nursing assistant, of Newton, died April 29 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice in Wichita.

The service was May 3 at Eastmoor United Methodist Church, 105 Eastmoor Dr., Marion.

Burial was in the Johannestal Cemetery in rural Hillsboro.

She was born May 12, 1936, to Pete and Irma (Brandt) Funk at Hillsboro. She was married to Bill Ewert, who predeceased her. She later married Lee Westhafer, who also predeceased her. She is survived by husband Roger Giesbrecht.

She also is survived by children Michael and wife Melody Ewert and Patrice and husband Ron McHenry, all of Wichita, and stepchildren Lorraine Rivas, Luanne Soukup, Terri Rall, Tom Westhafer and Lesa Cooper.

Ruth Elizabeth (Paulin) Viets, 91

, a homemaker, died May 4 at St. Luke?s Living Center in Marion.

The service is at 11 a.m., Friday, May 9, at Eastmoor United Methodist Church. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in the Highland Cemetery, Wichita. Visita?tion will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at Zeiner Funeral Home, Marion.

She was born Nov. 14, 1922, to Milo and Marie (Wight) Paulin at Wichita. She was married to pastor Donald Viets, who predeceased her.

Survivors include daughter Dona and husband Rick Gibson of Wichita; brother John and wife Charmaine Paulin of Winfield; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
