Carol E. dies, 76,

a legal secretary, of Mound?ridge and formerly of McPherson and Lehigh, died Aug. 26 at McPherson Hospital.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at First United Methodist Church, 1200 E. Kansas Ave., McPherson. Burial will be at McPherson Cemetery.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, at Stockham Family Funeral Home in McPherson.

She was born Dec. 13, 1937, to Jonathan Earl and Mabel Antonette (Fusta?f?son) Shugar at McPherson. She was married to Robert E. ?Bob? Shaw and Harry J. Dies, who both predeceased her.

Survivors include children Kendall and wife Jennifer Shaw and Lynette and husband Greg Pauls, all of McPherson, and Darin and wife Amanda Shaw of Owasso, Okla.; stepchildren Valeda and husband Lonnie Hack of Mills, Wyo., Kris and husband Gary Reese of Canton, Brad and wife Paula Dies of Lehigh and Kim Stute of Plano, Texas; brother Walter Shugar and wife Bertha Shugar of Lebanon, Mo.; 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Cancer Center of Kansas and sent in care of Stock?ham Family Funeral Home, 205 N. Chestnut, McPher?son, KS 67460.

Kristine Farr, 55,

of Hillsboro, a parole officer for the state of Kansas, died Aug. 29 at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita.

A private service is planned.

She was born Aug. 26, 1959, in Bartlesville, Okla.

Survivors include daughter Desirae and husband Chance Stephens of Wichita; sisters Debi Stan?ton of Pueblo, Colo., Jeri Clark of Harrison, Ark.; parents, Mary Lou and Ernie Bradley of Harrison, Ark., and two grandchildren.
