Rachel Friesen, 88,

died June 9 at Hillsboro Community Hospital.

The service was June 30 at the Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, 300 Prairie Pointe.

She was born Jan. 15, 1926, to George and Sara (Harms) Kornelsen at Greensburg.

Survivors include sons Terryl and wife Tammy Friesen of Arlington, Texas, and Donnel and wife Donalee Friesen of Lenexa; daughters Sarita Blosser of Goessel and Jody and husband Brent Heizelman of Lindsborg; 10 grandchildren; sister Betty and husband Ernest Dirks of Hillsboro.

Memorials may be made to the Mexican Mission Ministries or Holt Adoption Agency and sent in care of Jost Funeral Home P.O. Box 266 Hillsboro, KS 67063, in charge of arrangements.

Geraldine ?Gerry? Mills, 82,

of Marion, died June 24 at Life Care Center in Andover.

A graveside service was June 27 at the Marion Cemetery with pastor Carl Helm officiating.

She was born Aug. 31, 1931, to George and Lillian Teague Peters, at Mountainburg, Ark. On June 13, 1967, she was married to Lee Mills, who predeceased her Sept. 29, 1997.

Survivors include son Roger Meadows of Spokane, Wash.; sister Alta Jo Brown of Alma, Ark.; two grandchildren and two nieces.

Funeral arrangements were by Zeiner Funeral Home, 205 Elm St., Marion.

Wilma J. (Billie) Ollek, 90,

of Buhler, retired business owner, baker, medication aide, died June 29 at Hospice House in Hutchinson.

The service is at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 3, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with pastor Chad Trunkhill officiating.

A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, July 3, at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Hillsboro.

Visitation with the family is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, July 2 at the Buhler Sunshine Home Chapel in Buhler.

She was born Aug. 2, 1923, to George and Amelia Bartel Meier at Tampa. On Feb. 12, 1941, she was married to Arthur Ollek, who predeceased her March 16, 2003.

Survivors include sons Edward of Chester, Md., and Jim and wife Julie of Buhler, daughters Brenda Schafer of Wichita and Virginia Potter of Buhler; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one-great-great granddaughter, and nieces and nephews.

Joan B. Thompson, 84,

a retired school teacher of Cedar Point, died June 28 at St. Lukes Hospital, Kansas City, Mo.

The funeral is at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, at Elmdale United Methodist Church, Elmdale.

Burial will be at Cedar Point Cemetery.

She was born July 28, 1929, to Robert and Grace Smith Bartlett at Emporia. On June 13, 1954, she was married to Dean Thompson, who predeceased her in 2002.

Survivors include son Wayne and wife Marlene of Merritt Island, Fla.; sister-in-law Shirley Sprague of Eureka; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
