◼ Norma Colleen (Nelson) Birdsall, 91, Cedar Point, died on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018.

A Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, December 14, 2018, at the Flint Hills Community Church in Cottonwood Falls.

The Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at the Flint Hills Community Church.

Interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at 12:35 p.m. on December 18, 2018, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Memorials can be made to the Chase County Senior Center or Angels Care Home Health and sent in c/o Zeiner Funeral Home 205 Elm St. Marion, Kansas 66861.

She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Carl and Agatha Nelson.

She is survived by daughters Cheryl Markgraf of Nebraska; Linda Warner (Larry) of Grantville, Kansas; Trish (Mike) Boekhaus of Springdale, Arkansas, Rebecca Wade (Zachary of Cedar Point; sons Rick Birdsall of Roseville, Minnesota and Bruce Birdsall (Debby) of Clyde.

◼ Kathleen Ludwig, 86, died on Sunday, December 16, 2018, at Newton Medical Center in Newton.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec 20, 2018 at the Christian Church of Florence.

Memorials may be given to the Christian Church of Florence in c/o Zeiner Funeral Home 205 Elm Street Marion. 66861.

She was born April 24, 1932, in Gideon, Oklahoma.

Kathleen is survived by husband Ronald Ludwig of Florence; sons Douglas, and Daniel (Cathy) of Florence; daughters Tawnya (Steve) Sokoll of Wichita and Rolana (Scott) Heidebrecht of Marion, Ks.; a brother A.C. Taylor of Seminole, Ok., and eight grandchildren.

◼ Marion E. “Pud” Ludwig, 88, died on November 26, 2018 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, AR.

A brief celebration of life was held in Rogers, AR. and interment is planned for June 2019 in Prairie Grove Cemetery at Cottonwood Falls. Brown-Bennett-Alexander Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.

“Pud” was born May 24, 1931 in Cedar Point. In 1950, Pud married Eunice Wyatt.

He is survived by daughter Theresa, son-in-law Rick, and 2 grandsons.

◼ Joseph J. Sklenar, 83, died on Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018 at The Gardens of Sapulpa under the care of Rose Rock Hospice.

A Rosary service will be at 10 a.m. and Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 21, 2018, at St John Nepomucene Catholic Church, intersection of Remington Rd and 275 th St., Pilsen 66861.

He was born October 4, 1935, to Joseph M and Della Sklenar of Pilsen. He married Edith Rozelle Hatton of Ranger, TX in 1960.

He is survived by his brother, Lloyd Sklenar, of Pilsen, his daughter Janice Wiles (Thomas) of Cincinnati, OH and his son, Joseph Matthew (Regina) of Bixby, OK. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and a great grandson.
