◼ Alta Mae Huffington, 93, died Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Peabody Health and Rehabilitation in Peabody.

She was born November 4, 1925, in Florence, Kansas. She married Audrey Jack Huffington 29 years ago.

She is survived by son Alvin Remmers and wife Diane of Davis, California; daughter, Lois Hayes of New Cambria, Kan; son Warren Remmers and wife Caren of Wichita; sons Kenneth Remmers, Eugene Remmers, and Duane Remmers all of Lincolnville; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

◼ Stephen l. vincent, 67, died at on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018, at home in Reedley.

A Celebration of Life Service to be held at The Shari Flaming Center for the Arts 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018, in Hillsboro. There will also be one at Reedley Mennonite Brethren Church on Friday, Nov. 30, 2018, at 11 am in Reedley, Calif.

Interment at Gnadenau cemetery rural Hillsboro.

He was born to Lloyd and Eileen Vincent in Riverside, Calif.

He is survived by his brother, Michael, a nephew and niece, four cousins and their families, and many friends and colleagues.

◼ Belva e. unruh, 94, died on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2018, at Kidron Bethel Healthcare in North Newton.

Funeral service will be a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, at First Mennonite Church in Newton with Pastor Anita Kehr presiding.

Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Friday at Petersen Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Private family interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery Newton, Kansas.

Memorials are suggested to MCC or First Mennonite Church in care of Petersen Funeral Home.

She was born September 1, 1924, in Freeman, South Dakota to Ed and Anna (Tschetter) Waltner. She married Verney Unruh in 1946.

She is survived by her daughter and son in law Judi and Peter Mollenkof of Lancaster, Pa; son in law and his wife Bruce and Mim Tilton of Philadelphia, Pa; son and his wife Paul and Chris Unruh of Hesston, and daughter and her husband Barn and Ernie Beachey of Hudson, Wis. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
