&;9724; Ricky R. Heim, 69, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018 at home in McPherson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1 at the Canton Christian Church. Friends could call from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20 at Olson’s Mortuary in Canton.

A memorial has been established with the Cancer Center of Kansas, in care of the mortuary.

He was born on Sept. 23, 1949 in Goessel, the son of Harold and Nola (Westbrook) Heim.

He is survived by his significant other of 28 years, Sandra Heim of McPherson; three daughters, Valencia Heim, Wichita, Dawn (Christopher) Eagle, and Athena Heim, all of McPherson; two step-sons, Craig (Mallory) Heim, Hutchinson and Brandon (Jennifer) Heim, Galva; a step-daughter Andrea (Charlie) Scott, McPherson; two brothers, Daryl (Janice) Heim, Everton, Missouri and Neil Heim, Canton; seven grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren.

&;9724; Leroy E. Bitikofer, 92, Canton, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018 at home at Schowalter Villa, Hesston.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6 at Spring Valley Mennonite Church in Canton.

Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday evening at Olson’s Mortuary, Canton.

Memorials have been established with the church or Mennonite Central Committee, in care of the mortuary.

He was born on Jan. 24, 1926 in rural Canton, the son of Fred and Martha (Loucks) Bitikofer. On Aug. 24, 1948, he married Doris Selzer in Canton.

He is survived by his wife; three sons, Dwight of St. Louis, Miss, Dennis (Mary) of Canton and Gary (Laura), Crestview, Florida; a daughter Leta Kremser, Catawissa, Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren and eight grandchildren.

&;9724; James l. Voran, 63, died on Monday, Sept. 24, 2018 at his Newton home.

Memorial service will be 3 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018 at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Donna Voteau presiding.

Visitation will be 5- 9 pm. on Wednesday with the family receiving friends from 6:30 p.m.- 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery Newton.

Memorials are suggested to the charity of your choice in James’ name c/o Petersen funeral home.

He was born June 14, 1955 in Kingman, Kansas to Paul J. and Benette F. (Albright) Voran. On August 16, 1975 he married Sherri Kay Spani

He is survived by his sons and their wives Shane and Alyson Voran of Lehigh and Ryan and Ruth Voran of Newton; two brothers: Mike Voran of Hutchinson, Kansas and Rick Voran of Sterling, Virginia. He is also survived by two granddaughters.
