◼ Kenneth A. Funk, 84, Hillsboro, died Jan. 5, 2019 at Via Christi St. Teresa Hospital in Wichita.

Celebration of Life service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019, at First Mennonite Church in Hillsboro officiated by Pastor Tom Harder.

Interment at Haven of Rest cemetery rural Hillsboro 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8 at Jost Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

He was born Oct. 31, 1934, to Arthur and Katherine (Pankratz) Funk in Hillsboro. He married Bonnie Schafer June 16, 1957, in Hillsboro.

Survivors include: wife, Bonnie Funk of Rural Hillsboro; son, Kent (Vell) Funk of Hillsboro; daughter, Cindy Friesen of St. John; 3 grandchildren; brothers, Norman Funk of Moundridge, Linferd (Delores) of Rural Hillsboro; sister, Edith Unruh of Hillsboro; sister-in-law, Jeanie Funk of Hillsboro.

◼ Bettie meier, 96, died on Friday, Jan. 4, 2019, at Asbury Park in Newton.

Service 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Durham.

She was born March 22, 1922 in McPherson to Ed and Leah (Geis) Geis. She married Bill Meier March 25, 1944 rural Durham.

◼ Perry L. Ratzloff, 90, died on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018 in Wichita.

The funeral service was at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 4 2019, at Alexanderfeld Church of God in Christ Mennonite.

The commital service was at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 4 at Eden Mennonite Cemetery in Burns.

He was born on July 21, 1928, to Peter H. and Adina (Smith) Ratzloff in Moundridge. He married Irene A. Ducommun on June 13, 1950.

Survivors include children Lloyd and Debbie Ratzloff of Lehigh, Colleen Loyles of Halstead, Marlys and Tom Plett of Hillsboro, D’Elda and Vaughn Junke of Moundridge, Victor Ratzloff and Margo Yates or Marion, and Trudy and Lindley Slifer of Marion; his sister Loreen Ratzloff of Newton; 19 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
