Joyce Ann Duckworth Smith, 82, of Topeka, and formerly of Marion, held many jobs in the area to include a nurse, clerk with Hannaford Abstract Co., teller at Marion National Bank, bookkeeper and secretary.
She died Sept. 4 from injuries in a two-vehicle collision near Hillsboro.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12, at Marion Christian Church, 140 Elm St.
Burial will be at Marion Cemetery.
Visitation with family will be from 9 a.m. until service time at the church.
She was born Dec. 24, 1931, to Timothy Amzy and Mary Magdalene (Herb) Duckworth at Wilson County. On Sept. 22, 1951, she was married to Forrest L. Smith, who predeceased her March 27, 2012.
Survivors include sons Craig W. and wife Sherry Smith and and Marc L. and wife Dawn Smith; eight grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, one step-great-grandchild; and three step-great-grandchildren; brothers Glen R. Duckworth and Gary L. Duckworth and sisters Shirley Tindle and Kay England.
