DEATH: Harold Kasper, 83

Harold Kasper, 83, a cattleman and farmer, of Hillsboro, died Aug. 16 at Hillsboro Community Hospital.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22, at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, 300 Prairie Pointe, with pastor Brian Allen officiating.

He was born July 29, 1931, to David and Susie (Block) Kasper at Hillsboro. His wife, Shirley Kasper of rural Hillsboro, survives.

Other survivors include daughters Kristy Harder of Pea Ridge, Ark., Brenda and husband Ron Brown of Hillsboro, Sandy and husband Doug Beisel of Independence and Dawn and husband Roger Long of Lenexa; sisters Dorothy Kliewer of Weatherford, Okla., and Rosella Suderman of Hillsboro; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church and sent in care of Jost Funeral Home, P.O. Box 266, Hillsboro, KS 67063, in charge of arrangements.
