Dalmer Kaufman, 94, passed away Jan. 14, 2021, at Newton Medical Center. He was born June 16, 1926, rural Moundridge, to Daniel and Matilda (Goering) Kaufman. He married Violet Krispense Sept. 6, 1953, at Strassburg Baptist Church, rural Marion. In 1994, he married Janice Frick Mayfield.
Survivors include: sons, Kim Kaufman of Hillsboro, Timothy (Debra) Kaufman of rural Durham, Thomas (Sherry) Kaufman of rural Hillsboro; daughter, Autumn (Kem) Chisholm of rural Durham; brothers, Milo (Betty) Kaufman of Newton, Jerald (Joan) Kaufman of Naples, Fla.; sister, Reitha Klaassen of Newton; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by his wife, Violet Kaufman, in 1993 and his daughter-in-law, Delora Kaufman, in 2017. In 2007, his second wife, Janice Kaufman, passed away. Graveside service 11:15 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18, at Strassburg Cemetery, rural Marion, led by Pastor Brad Penn.
