Cathryn L. Hurst, 76, homemaker, died Thursday, Jan. 1, at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 7, at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church, Hillsboro, with pastor Steve Schroeder officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. at Gnadenau Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.
The family will receive guests from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Jost Funeral Home, Hillsboro.
She was born March 23, 1932, to William G. and Anna (Lichty) Martin at Bowmansville, Pa. On Dec. 22, 1951, she was married to John B. Hurst, who survives in Hillsboro.
She also is survived by a son, Mike and wife Karla of Hills?boro; a daughter Sheryl and husband Rick Duerksen of Perkasie, Pa.; brothers Irvin, Milton, Ray, Earl, Jim and Bill Martin; sisters Helen Parrish, Irene Sauder, Alice Yoder and Anna Day; and five grandchildren.
