Alma Pfautz, 78

Alma L. Pfautz, 78, registered nurse, died Aug. 1 at Schowalter Villa in Hesston.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 5 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Canton. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. at the Hesston City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 4 at Schowalter Villa Chapel.

She was born April 7, 1930, to Rudolph J. and Mary Catherine (Meier) Fritsch in Durham. On Aug. 9, 1952, she was married to Henry E. Pfautz, who predeceased her.

She is survived by two sons, Keith and Judy Pfautz of Hesston, and Kent and Michelle Pfautz of Hesston; a daughter, Karen Travis of Wichita; a brother, Harold Fritsch of Wichita; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial fund has been established with the Hesston Public Library in care of Miller Funeral Home.
